I found a bug where the app can lose track of your purchase under certain conditions. I'm very sorry about that. A fix is coming in the next update. In the meantime, if you open the upgrade screen, there's a "Restore Purchases" button at the bottom that should immediately re-activate your Pro unlock. Robo callers are increasingly using random generated numbers from distinct area codes and prefixes. This tool seems to work effectively against those nuisances. Held back on stars because there is limitations on the number of wild card entries that can be included. User will need to delete old entries after awhile, to include the recent annoyances that need to be blocked. ### 5/5 — Best app out there *2020-09-29, version 1.1.1* This is the only app that works to block incoming scam calls bouncing off different country codes. I was getting over 50 miss calls a day and still add numbers to this list periodically. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Does NOT block calls *2026-08-26* It claims to block the calls but it does not. It allows the blocked numbers and just silences them so your phone doesn’t ring. The numbers still appear on the recent calls list, AND the callers can still leave voicemails. My iPhone already has the option to silence callers. So this App doesn’t really do what it claims. WASTE OF MONEY! ### 1/5 — Does not "Block", silences only *2026-08-14* This app appears to only silence those unwanted spam calls. They still show up in your calls list and you still have to delete each of them. Spammers can still leave voicemails, and you have to delete them manually as well. This "Block" moniker is a little misleading. I emailed the app asking for help BLOCKING calls yesterday, no reply yet. I see why now--they can't do that. Thank goodness I signed up for it during the free period because I paid absolutely nothing for it and it’s worth exactly that absolutely nothing. Don’t waste your money. **Developer response:** I'm sorry for the frustration, and I appreciate you taking the time to share this. It sounds like the issue was with text message spam rather than calls — SMS filtering on iOS works differently and requires the app to be enabled in Settings › Messages › Unknown & Spam › SMS Filtering for patterns to take effect. iOS also only filters messages from senders not in your contacts. This review is from 2021 and the app has improved significantly since then in both reliability and pattern handling. Highly recommended. ### 5/5 — The Best *2026-06-06, version 2.2.3* I searched the internet for a ‘spam-nuisance’ call blocker that I could enter a toll-free exchange number, then an area code, followed by a wild card sequence (that represented a ‘don’t allow phone number’ for what ever follows the toll-free and area code where the call originally emanated from. The result is NO SPAM / SPOOF CALLS ANY MORE!! And the beauty of this is that it works in concert with Apples native call blocking system. Since I installed it (yesterday), I’ve had ‘ZERO’ calls, where as before, in that time period, I would have 30+ calls that I’d have had to decline. What a great application and peace of mind this app is!
