This is a really nice app and if it supported American English as an option, I'd prefer it to some of the other apps out there. But it doesn't and seeing how the American English IPA has different symbols for different sounds, it isn't very useful to me. I would've appreciated some indication American English wasn't an option when I purchased the app. If you're looking for British English, you can't go wrong here.

This is a fantastic App! I have to learn IPA for my voice class in college and I love playing with all the helpful games and flashcards! The audio part of it makes this an all-around 5 star app!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Worth the money!
