My 2 year old is tracing the letters and identifying letter sounds. However, sometimes the letter sounds add the extra sound of “uh” after the letter. For example saying that B says “buh” is incorrect as the B sound should be said as /b/. Adding the extra “uh” will make it harder for children to sound out words. If they sound out the word bat using this it would be “buh” “a” “tuh” and will make it harder to get to the actual word bat.
