## What is Phonogram Fun?

Phonogram Fun is a sounds-first phonics and spelling app that turns your child's real school spelling list into practice they choose to do.

Young spellers need to hear words again. And again. And once more after that. Repetition is how spelling sticks. Phonogram Fun repeats every word on demand, breaks it into the sounds that make it up, and turns a plain word list into games kids genuinely come back to. You get to be the cheer squad.

THIS WEEK'S LIST, TRANSFORMED: Snap a photo of any spelling list (a homework sheet, a school handout, your own handwriting) and it becomes:

WORD CLIMB, NEW: One word at a time climbs the ladder. One letter missing, then two, then every second letter gone, all the way to Blind Spell and Wild Spell (seeded with the near-miss letters kids actually reach for). Conquered words earn gold, silver or bronze medal celebrations, and streaks of golds turn up the party. WORD CLIMB - a new way to master the week's list. Word Climb is designed for repetition and engagement. This game drives spelling confidence as your child works through the same word 5 times (easy, medium, hard, blind, wild) in quick succession.

A colour-coded practice grid tracks every word's climb, so you can see at a glance which of this week's words are solid and which need another go.

You'll also notice our new name, Kids Spelling: Phonogram Fun. Same app, same sounds-first approach, just clearer about what it does.

This app is designed to be low stimulation screentime to help your child's spelling abilities.

iPad compatible - Give your kids some guilt-free iPad time. We're big on low-stimulation, educational screentime, so we've optimised PhonogramFun to work on an iPad in landscape view. 

Reminders - PhonogramFun can send you a notification on the day homework comes home (you tell the app, optional) and each day when you usually help your child with homework (Again, you tell the app, optional!). This all happens locally on the device with no data sent to servers or stored.

Flashcards - a big overhaul of the flashcard experience based on feedback from parents who like to spend some time doing flashcards with their child.

Navigation improvements - parents told us the spelling list was the main attraction so we've made it easier to get in and get started with your weekly spelling list experience.
