## What is Photo Calorie Log?

One photo a day, and it keeps going.

Pashameshi is a meal log that does not ask much of you. Point the camera at the plate and an AI reads a rough estimate of the calories and of the protein, fat and carbohydrate. One tap and it is written down.

- You eat out or pick something up on the way home, and logging never lasts
- Typing numbers in is tiresome, and you have given up more than once
- You would rather go at your own pace than be cornered by figures
- You want to settle into a rhythm such as sixteen hours between meals

- What you can do
- Photo: the dish comes back named in the language your screen is in, with an estimate beside it
- Nutrition label: photograph the label on the back of a package and the figures are read from it
- Barcode: scan it and the item is looked up in a free food database (Open Food Facts)
- By hand, or from a list: items from restaurant chains are included and can be sorted by lowest fat. The list is built around chains in Japan
- Fasting timer: the hours since your last meal, shown quietly
- Weight, a weekly look back, a flame that stays lit while your logging continues, and badges to collect
- Targets taken care of: enter your height and weight and a guideline is prepared for you

- Built to be safe to use
- What you log stays inside this device. No account and no sign-up
- No ads
- A photo leaves the app only when an AI reads it, and only after you agree
- With a barcode, only the digits are sent. Your log and your photos are not

- Free, and what costs money
- For the first 30 days everyone can use everything, with no card and no sign-up
- After that, logging by hand, by barcode and from the list, the fasting timer, the graphs and the weekly look back all stay free, with no limit
- Reading photos with the AI stays free three times a month. A monthly or a yearly plan opens it up (the purchase screen is the authority on the price)
- If you already have your own AI key, there is a one-time purchase instead. It sits behind a fold on the purchase screen, for people who want it
- A plan renews on its own at the same price until you cancel it, and it can be cancelled at any time from your account settings
