It’s a simple interface and a great way to clear duplicates, screenshots, and other clutter. The last 6 months or so I have had a LOT of issues, which has led me to not renew my subscription. The app crashes and then no photos show except for those taken since the crash. I end up having to delete the app, redownload, and start over. I’m the last 6 months, I’ve probably had to do this 12 or 13 times. When I’ve reached out for support, I get an “undeliverable” response. I am very disappointed because I did really love this app and found it very useful, but I will likely be switching to a different app once this year subscription expires. ### 4/5 — I like it *2026-01-29, version 1.934.2* I like seeing my progress, the app stores my stats. Smothering is how you get broken up with. So you would’ve gotten five stars. I used to use it all the time and was making progress of finally going through all my photos. Now that it has updated, I haven’t touched the app in months. By making any User Content available through the Services you hereby grant to Keepbox a non-exclusive, transferable, worldwide, royalty-free license, with the right to sublicense, to use, copy, or modify your User Content in connection with operating and providing the Services.” **Developer response:** We don't have access to your photos. We don't download them. It suggests photos to delete, but doesn’t provide any reasoning. Maybe it’s a duplicate, but it looks like a good photo. Also, it doesn’t let you easily skip photos. I want to be able to scroll and see if I do have a better version of that image, and then make a decision on which ones to delete. ### 1/5 — Trying to contact app developer *2025-06-24, version 1.931.0* I’m trying to restore my subscription that I purchased on the previous app. None of the Contact Us links are working. ### 1/5 — It used to be great… *2025-06-08* The former versions of this app (Good Ones and Ollie) were really nice, but now functionality has been scaled so far back and the interface is so limited, that it isn’t worth using, and for the price of the subscription, there’s better apps that do a nicer job. The AI doesn’t do much for me, and unless you are a novice photographer, the AI isn’t very helpful, though it does identify the technically best photos (lighting/exposure/composition). Now you’re forced to keep or delete each photo before being able to review the other similar photos. Before AI and this app version, there were and are other apps that are easier and nicer to use. Ollie was great and fun, but I’m probably going to move on to a different app. Unfortunate since I had been using it for a few years. The previous versions gave you different categories you could choose to review and cleanup, also showing thumbnails of those categories. The interface was user friendly and made it fun to use. Now it’s just a calendar. It seems that the free version will soon be ad supported, and it won’t be worth it. We simplified the interface after a lot of beta testing, where we found that this new approach helped more people actually make progress organizing their photo libraries — which is our core goal. But we totally understand that it might feel like a step back, especially if you loved the older layout and features. Just to clarify: the paid version will stay ad-free, and the AI is still designed to help surface technically stronger shots — though we know it won’t be helpful in every case. It was known as Ollie and this update is a major downgrade- please go back to how it was. Not only was it easier to use, it was just more practical. You can only delete like 10 pictures before you’ve reached the ‘free’ limit. Ridiculous!
