## What is Photo Downloader?

Photo Downloader transfers selected photos and videos from your iPhone to your computer over Wi-Fi. Files are saved on your computer without uploading them to a developer-operated cloud.

CHOOSE WHAT TO TRANSFER
Select photos and videos manually, pick any dates in a calendar, choose the latest N items or select Send All. Manual selection does not require full photo-library access and supports up to 300 items per selection. Send All requires full photo-library access and transfers all photos and videos automatically in batches of 300. The queue includes the library contents at preparation time.

REVIEW YOUR SELECTION
Preview selected photos and videos before preparation. Preparing files and starting the transfer are separate actions, so you decide when to send them.

For Live Photos, send only the still image or enable the short Live Photo video component. Ordinary videos are transferred regardless of this switch.

CONNECT YOUR COMPUTER
Discover a receiver on your local network, scan its QR code or enter its address. A separate Photo Downloader receiver must run on your computer. The receiver for Macs with Apple silicon is available on the project website.

CHECK TRANSFER RESULTS
Follow transfer progress and see a remaining-time estimate once sufficient speed measurements are available. Checksums verify saved files. Continue your saved queue after an interruption.

TRANSFER HISTORY
Review results, preview available sources on your iPhone and clear user-visible history. Clearing history or cancelling a transfer does not delete source media or copies already saved on your computer.

REQUIREMENTS
iOS 17 or later, an up-to-date desktop receiver and a trusted local network shared by both devices. Keep the iPhone app open during transfer. Original availability depends on iOS permissions and your photo library; manual selection may provide a system-selected representation. The app interface is currently in Russian.

No ads, registration or in-app purchases.
