I’m just sorry to see how ads ruined the experience and I can’t export/save my edits even after paying and watching all the ads. Suddenly I have ads and I’m unable to access most of what I’ve used previously. I tried to restore purchases and it said I had none. I’ve recommended this app to many people and am disappointed it appears to have switched to a subscription model and taken away my access. ### 2/5 — It used to be good… *2024-09-19, version 5.5.5* When I first got this app nearly 10 years ago, it was easy to use, and had a lot of cool features. I paid for the extra features and to remove the watermark. But now, it’s changed to a subscription for those perks, and my previous payment is no longer acknowledged. The app has gone way down in quality. It glitches and blurs the image or crashes and loses your progress. We had a good run, Photo Editor. I loved how the fonts were previously! I’m hoping that there will be another update to make the changes back to how the stickers and Quotes were before. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Had this a while , just lost 3.99 *2026-01-27, version 5.5.8* I don’t know what’s going on with this app. I’ve had it for a while and just decided to reinstall it to use the magazine feature. It took my 3.99 to unlock that feature, and it seems every other feature is itemized with a separate charge and prices vary. Now it keeps wanting to charge me $9.99 and all I want to do is make a magazine. I add photos and it’s freezing and crashing. I can’t even get past the add photo point. And then, at one point it told me the photos are the wrong format. What do you mean? They’re in my iPhone, they are not the wrong format. Once I add a picture to the magazine template if I click to change the photo, the app crashes and I have to start all over again . The app clearly doesn’t work anymore, but it works enough to steal money from me. ### 1/5 — FONT CHANGE *2026-01-27, version 5.5.8* I wish the new update didn’t eliminate the original fonts in the text option. Couldn’t you have added the new ones, without taking away the old ones?!
