### 3/5 — Seriously needs updating.

*2020-04-17, version 1.3.1*

I have used this before, but it sadly lacks updates. Please make sure that this app is updated on a regular basis.

### 3/5 — Alerts not received!

*2019-10-01, version 1.3.1*

I too don’t get any alerts when passing by photo radar.

### 2/5 — Lacking

*2019-08-23, version 1.3.1*

This app alerts when there is no photo radar present. Or, it alerts after I pass an active photo radar location.
From my experience, the alarm goes off at specific locations daily, even there is no radar present at the time.
Room for improvement, and I hope these bugs can get fixed.

### 3/5 — Great with 1 flaw

*2019-05-24, version 1.3.1*

Alerts only when app is open.
Great for cruises with the car fam, but really wish it would work while it’s closed as I drive for my job and have to use the gps instead to know where I’m going.

Would be the best thing ever if it would work with car play as well!

### 4/5 — Good stuff

*2019-01-24, version 1.3.1*

The app concept is great and seems to work well other than the alert part. I do have it set to alert me at any speed and so far the app hadn’t generated any alerts even though I have driven past pins in the map indicating radar locations. Would give it 5 stars if the alerting worked for me.

### 2/5 — Like the idea

*2018-10-10, version 1.3.1*

It’s a great idea but not once has this app gone off or made a sound. Even with my notifications turned up and it’s always running in the background. I find myself checking my phone while I’m driving because I don’t know if it’s working. I’ll probably look for a different app or go back to scanning intersections.

### 2/5 — NEEDS 1 UPDATE

*2018-06-06, version 1.3.1*

I need google maps just to get around. But I do not want to have this apps location services sucking my batteries juice 24/7.

Please update your app so I can have the location services running while it's NOT ON SCREEN yet OPEN, along with the notifications.

When closed completely- location services deactivated.

Doing so will allow me to use google maps as well as your app simultaneously

### 3/5 — Good idea but alerts don’t really work

*2017-11-21, version 1.3.1*

As a simple map of where photo radar locations are, this is ok. But the alert function just doesn’t really work. It’s supposed to beep a warning if you’re over the speed limit and approaching a stop light, but I’ve often had it beep while I’m completely stopped at a light, while I’m in a parking lot, even once when I was walking on foot into a supermarket nowhere near a speed camera intersection. The location just doesn’t seem to be accurate enough to make the alerts useful. So sure, use it as a map to refer to, but it’s not much use otherwise. (For reference: iPhone 6, latest iOS, Freedom Mobile, wifi enabled.)

### 3/5 — Mobile data pig!

*2017-10-16, version 1.3.1*

This is a pretty good app—disregard the review that says it’s riddled with ads. I’ve never seen one. My big beef is that it uses a HUGE amount of mobile data. I couldn’t figure out why I was going over my data limit, so I installed a usage tracker and yep, this is the culprit. Be careful if, like me, you have a 500MB-1GB limit.

### 4/5 — Great app

*2017-10-10, version 1.2*

I think this is a really good app but I think you should do it for more than just edmonton which would help people out more like Leduc, Beaumont, Devon, etc rather than just Edmonton.

### 4/5 — Can be better

*2017-10-05, version 1.2*

I think location has to be set to "always" to work properly. I get alert even when phone is in sleep mode. I tried location setting "when using the app" and it's hit or miss. So now I just change the location setting to always when I'm driving. Also I think the app should alert regardless of your current speed. I'd like to know when I'm approaching a radar location. Please also add speedometer and navigation. I wish waze would add these radar locations so we don't have to use another app. Thanks for the app.

### 4/5 — Love it

*2017-10-02, version 1.2*

I'm so thankful this app was developed and available to me. I got 4 photo radar tickets in one year I was unemployed! I'm only giving it 4 stars because it doesn't alert me when my screen is locked, which is most of the time- my phone is only unlocked and open when I'm using it. I am definitely donating to the maker of this app, hopefully it can be improved!

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2017-09-28, version 1.2*

Drove past 2 photo radar trucks and this app did not notify me at all.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2020-06-02, version 1.3.1*

Wish it would work small towns such as Edson, Hinton, and Whitecourt etc...

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work. Map isn’t accurate.

*2018-08-19, version 1.3.1*

I downloaded this app a few days ago and have been driving around Edmonton testing it out. I don’t receive any notification when I drive past a location marked on the app’s map. No sound, no banners, no notification of any kind. It tracks my location (blue dot) as I drive around, but doesn’t alert me as I approach and pass one of the published photo radar locations (red pins). Sound is on and all notifications are active on my phone. I have it set to notify me regardless of my speed. Tried rebooting my phone...no luck.

I thought maybe I would keep the app anyways and just review the locations before I head out, but I just passed a known photo radar location today on the Whitemud WB (right before the Quesnell bridge). Sure enough, a white F150 was parked behind the bushes snapping photos. This location was NOT marked on the app.

I will uninstall this app right after publishing this review.

### 1/5 — Sucks

*2018-06-01, version 1.3.1*

Doesn’t Alert Useless

### 1/5 — Extremely Sub-par

*2017-10-11, version 1.3.1*

Was excited to test this out, only to be rewarded with extreme disappointment. The visual design and user interface are terrible and, quite frankly, pedestrian. The functionality is extremely limited. It's awkward to use. It's littered with ads. Thumbs down.

### 1/5 — Not working

*2017-10-03, version 1.2*

So I downloaded this app and it’s easy to set up and customize. However it’s supposed to make an audible sound when close to radar however I’ve yet to hear anything. I’ve gone through the settings multiple times and still nothing.

### 1/5 — JB

*2017-10-01, version 1.2*

Poor app, as notified me on school zone speed limit in WEEKEND,

### 1/5 — Buyer Beware

*2017-09-30, version 1.2*

This app does very little! Try it before you send money. But do not trust it. It produces highly erratic results. Running the app on two devices at the same produced different results. The app does not report known many known intersection cameras but does report many radar locations that are not photo radar. The app will report locations that are not in the road you are traveling but are close. When it does reports a location, it is too late, you are already past it. We need an app like this, but trusting this one will likely cost you more radar tickets. At first I even thought this was a scam, but maybe this is an app that needs a lot of work to be functional. Shame on Global news for advertising an app before they tested it. More fake news!!!!

### 1/5 — Blaaaa

*2017-09-29, version 1.2*

App goes off every over pass on henday and there isn’t even photo radar set up.

### 1/5 — Garbage

*2017-09-29, version 1.2*

Deleted this app after the first day of driving with it. Notifies you about common locations, not where there is active radar. Might as well just notify you every 10 seconds to remind you that you're in Edmonton.

### 1/5 — Always allow location?!

*2017-09-29, version 1.2*

Are you trying to collect Edmontonian’s movement data?
Why do you require for the app to have access to our location ALL the time? Having it enabled when the app is open should work just fine - but for some reason it doesn’t?
Do better.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Ok

*2021-05-05, version 1.3.1*

Bla bla bla bla bla bla bal a bla ab

### 5/5 — No warning sound when connected via car play/Bluetooth

*2020-05-30, version 1.3.1*

Great App!!
But I did find a flaw. The app doesn’t generate a warning sound when connected to your car via apple car play or Bluetooth. Is there a way around it? Or something coming up in the new update?
Otherwise the database for photo radars in the app is perfect.

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2018-04-29, version 1.3.1*

This app saved me many times I love it

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2017-11-20, version 1.3.1*

### 5/5 — Ignore Poor Reviews

I love my photo radar app!! Easy to use and is going to save me from tickets and my license! Bravo 👌

### 5/5 — Excellent App

*2017-09-30, version 1.2*

Eye opener to locations, you may not be aware of. Works great in pair with Waze™. A social navigation App, where other users actively report. Crashes, photo radar, traffic et cetera.

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2017-09-28, version 1.2*

City of Edmonton and the EPS are a joke. Five stars. Get s real job, uneducated photo radar operating losers.

### 5/5 — Great idea

*2017-09-28, version 1.2*

Looking forward to using this. What a great idea! I hope it catches on in the surrounding areas like St Albert, Sherwood Park etc

### 5/5 — Thanks for doing this!

*2017-09-28, version 1.2*

Looking forward to using it.

### 5/5 — Awesome!

*2017-08-15, version 1.1*

I only just downloaded it but I think this is game changing! Thank you! 👍🏻
