But as other reviewers have noted, the app seems to be very finicky in which photos it can use and which it can’t. And there is no way to really figure out how to take the constituent photos in a “stitch-worthy” manner. ### 2/5 — Photo stitch *2020-07-25* I have been searching for a version of photo stitching that could duplicate a version from several years ago. It was rendered useless by iOS 10. Not updated. This version MAY stitch 6 photos without crashing. Nowhere near the 20+ I had used to develop a thriving panorama market. Mostly, this version would just crash. iOS 10.5.1 ### 3/5 — Mäßige Ergebnisse mit sichtbaren Übergängen *2020-03-15* Die Bildergebnisse - sofern sie denn entstehen, denn oft genug schafft es die App nicht Bilder zusammen zu schneiden - sind okay, jedoch sind die Zonen der Überblendungen deutlich sichtbar. Insbesondere wenn die Belichtung von zwei Fotos nicht perfekt gleich ist, zeigen sich starke Grenzen an den Stiching-Bereichen. Das können (und konnte damals Auto Stitch) deutlich besser. Für „mal eben“ um sich einen Eindruck zu machen, wie das Panorama am heimischen Mac mit einer guten Software werden könnte brauchbar. Aber wie gesagt, sehr oft verweigert das Programm den Dienst und meldet nur, dass die Bilder nicht zusammengeführt werden können. ### 4/5 — Rasant schnell *2020-01-19* Funktioniert unter IPadOS 13 auf IPad Pro. +++ Deutlich schneller als Affinity Photo +++ Super einfach zu bedienen Empfehlung: App für jedes Panorama neu starten. Absturz bedeutet nicht immer, dass das Panorama nicht zu erstelen ist. - Abstürze Wenn man ein zweites Panorama erstellen will oder die Einzelbilder nicht zusammen passen, können Abstürze vorkommen. Diese traten bei meinen Tests jedoch schon wenige Sekunden nach dem Start auf. Man bekommt also ein recht zeitnahes Feedback. Anders als bei Affinity Photo, das zwar beim Erstellen von Panoramen nie abstürzte, jedoch etliche Minuten braucht, wo Photo Stitcher 2.0 schon nach wenigen Sekunden ein Feedback gibt. Deswegen 4 Sterne. Qualität: Perfekt fotografierte Panoramen (Kamera schwenkt/rotiert um den Nodalpunkt des Objektivs) liefern die besten Resultate. ### 1/5 — Useless *2019-12-05* Apparently, this is a new and improved app (as of Dec. 2019), but it’s no better. It can’t even stitch the simplest 2 side-by-side photos together. If fact, nothing happens but either an error message that it can’t stitch the photos, or that it just crashes. Apple should investigate this app b/c it’s possibly a fake app that is harvesting our personal information. **Developer response:** Hey! Sorry about that, I can’t get this to happen for me. Any chance you could email some photos that are causing a crash for you? Don’t waste your time or money getting this app. I would have preferred not giving it a star if I had the choice. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t Work At All *2019-08-02, version 1.4* Fails to stitch pictures together to make a panorama. I was able to use a different application to do this, but this particular one won’t do it with the exact same pictures. Nothing would stich ### 1/5 — RE: Doesn't work iphone using ios version 12.3.1 *2019-07-25* Bought new iphone XS Max with ios 12.3.1. No matter what I did, the aap would not stitch any photos. My guess is it's not compatible with the new ios or else they're holding out hoping you'll spend your money on their more expensive stitcher aap. I tried the support link to work out a solution with the developer hoping to save them from a negative review, but alas, even the support link wouldn't work! Unless I hear different, my opinion stays the same! ### 1/5 — Don’t waste your money. *2019-07-01, version 1.4* I should have believed the other reviews. Only 1 attempt was successful, but sadly it looked like crap. It also requires 4 or more pictures, it cant stitch together only 2 or 3. ### 1/5 — Very poor *2021-01-17, version 2.0.2* I bought this to stitch together overlapping screenshots of maps to make a large montage To can print. Pretty easy you might think. Not for this app. Despite varying the degree of overlap in my screenshots, this app failed to stitch together more than a few at a time, often with unacceptable distortion and blurring. I rediscovered this (old) app. Stitching complicated panoramas is surprisingly accurate. It my view an absolutely underestimated marvel - of you accept minor limits. One limit is accurate light. The exposure of the dozen it more photos should be the same, then there is a quite accurate stitching. Thanks to the programmers. If you’ve ever done any panoramic work on DSLRs, you’ll appreciate what this app does for your iPhone photos. I can’t speak to the actual resolution of the finished photos, but it’s a good amount given it’s iPhone pictures. I’m using an iPhone 8 Plus and 9 photos take about 1-2 seconds to stitch. You can get a really wide angle with this app and a good set of overlapping images. ### 5/5 — Works well *2018-01-25* This works well for me. You take overlapping photos while keeping the iPhone at a fixed location. Then you select these from your camera roll in the app and it stitches them into a panorama. Admittedly a very basic interface that is lacking good instructions. ### 5/5 — Only panorama stitching app that works *2017-10-08* I bought 4 panorama stitching apps, and this is the only one that works (iPad Pro 12.9, iOS11) and, at lest with tree photos, it works perfectly! But lacks the stitching ability to make vertical panoramas. I see its possible easily if developers works on it.
