This update now changes the style of the photo summaries I have on my feed already. We desperately need a dedicated iPad app, the current iteration works, but it’s simply the iPhone app ported over. And we need to customise where the photos are being saved, I don’t want the photos going into my library each time, I want to select an album for them to go into. This has been fixed in v2 :) ### 4/5 — Great but missing one thing *2023-10-20* This app is great, but it randomly provides the mm of the photo taken from my telephoto lens. Certain images it displays 220mm (600mm FF), and others it displays nothing. I have triple checked that the images exported from Lightroom still contain the data and it is displayed on all of the photos. Either add the ability to edit the mm that the photo was shot at manually like the other settings, or update it to reliably display this information correctly. This one small improvement would knock it out and boost it to 5 stars for me. Overall I really enjoy this app and it’s simplicity. **Developer response:** I've just released v2.0 Can you test if it works and if it doesn't then use the Photo Summary website to send me an example photo that is coming out wrong. ### 2/5 — Can be much better *2023-05-04* Please, make it possible to adjust the information size. It’s way too big and covers sometimes important parts of the picture. It would be great to be able to resize and reposition it **Developer response:** You can reposition and resize everything in v2.0 :) ### 2/5 — On iPhone 14 Pro Max *2022-12-27* Unlike on Samsung Tablets, how come I cannot edit the size and place of the photo summary details on a photo taken by my canon R5, transfer and editted on my lightroom classic on my iphone? **Developer response:** I've addressed this in v2, let me know how it goes! It's now the same code for iOS and Android so they should always be in sync now. ### 3/5 — No option to edit metadata *2022-10-17* It’s a real frustration there’s no way to edit the way metadata is presented on your image. For people who shoot adapted lenses or medium and large format, there’s no way to manually enter your lens focal length or aperture. Give us the option to at least turn it off so there’s not unfilled information on our images. **Developer response:** I've fixed this in v2.0 ### 3/5 — Need options for long exposure *2022-04-04* I saw this app and thought it looked really nice. So after editing one of my latest shots, I thought I’d buy it and start using it. Of course, the first photo I try yo use this on, the shutter speed was 140 seconds. The app only allows you to do up to 30”. Would love an update so we could accurately put our shutter speed for long exposures. Die neue überzeugt mich 0%. War ein großer Freund von der App aber das Update war ein schlechter Zug. EXIF Daten werden nicht mehr richtig ausgelesen. Das geht gar nicht. Turned out to be wasted money. Doesn’t give any customization options, app is full of bugs. Not sure the developer charged the amount for what functionality. **Developer response:** Hi, I've released v2 which should be bug free and is infinitely more customisable. I'd love your feedback. ### 1/5 — Does not work with HEIF (iPhone) Photos *2023-01-15* This information should be disclosed before purchase. I bought the app and I mostly shoot with iPhones and found out after purchasing and going to the troubleshooting menu that it doesn’t work with HEIF photos. Please do an update as more photos are taken on iPhones than all the other cameras put together. **Developer response:** Hi, i've fixed this in v2.0 which is now available. ### 1/5 — Maybe it’s me🤷🏽‍♂️ *2022-04-03* So I’ve had the app for about a year and it has never added my meta data to any photos when transferred from my camera to my phone. I’ve watch my friend download the app and select a random pic off his phone and his data showed up. What a waste. Or maybe it’s me 🤷🏽‍♂️. Any suggestions??!!! **Developer response:** v1 didn't work properly with HEIF images from iPhone. I've released v2 which is a rewrite from scratch and it should work fine. Let me know how you go? ### 1/5 — Not very useful *2020-09-17* When you export your images for online usage pretty much every image editor will strip the EXIF data for smaller image size and faster loading times. All you get in this app is bunch of red question marks. Useless. Deleted. **Developer response:** Version 2 allows you to manually enter the EXIF data if you have stripped it out. I contacted Isaac, as my images weren’t saving to my camera roll. He replied within minutes with the solution, which was just that I hadn’t ticked the permissions box during my initial export. Re-installed and did what I was meant to do and it’s working fine.
