I edit an image for hours, so all the apps combined allow for unique art on my end. I like the automatic filters this app creates, for the most part. Also, I want to join BETA. I use a dozen of apps, yet the family of apps from Digital Masterpieces are my favourite tools. Oilbrush is a deep dive into oil painting filters and techniques. This app was my introduction to their family of apps. There is a significant crossover with BeCasso, but for advanced users, the extra investment is well worth it. It’s easy to get started and there’s plenty to learn as you grow your experience of using it. Whether you’re a beginner or a pro, this app is likely to become your go to place for creating your own masterpieces. But now in a recent update they've forced their paying customers to have to have a watermark for their pictures they produce. I thought the whole idea of paying a subscription was access to extra features PLUS no watermark? This is extremely disingenuous. These mobile app companies take their customers chained down on a ride. To wherever they get the whimsical notion to go next. I'm going to cancel my subscription and rant on all of Becasso's other products. Hopefully enough people will put pressure on these sons of female dogs to change their business practices. Again, why am I paying a subscription to unavoidably get a watermark on my picture? Is it because you're trying to push people to using your postal card service that is the only option without a watermark? I use this app to take my pictures to the next level for canvas prints as gifts for friends now I can't do that anymore but I can send them an overpriced little 10 x 15 post card. Yay. The results you can achieve are amazing with so many colour options and canvas and brush adjustments, along with the usual colour, exposure, highlights and cropping options. Vielen Dank im Voraus! ### 3/5 — Good *2026-09-04, version 6.0.4* I wish the app would allow me to change the background color of the vignette. The canvas color change applies an overlay color to the entire image and not only the background. This issue is persistent in its sister apps as well, with BeCasso working correctly occasionally but even that’s still buggy ### 3/5 — I liked the previous version *2023-08-19* .. but now there is a stupid vignette as a default on all of the new images in the pro version. I don’t want a vignette, I have to turn it off on all of my pictures. 1. Please make an option to change the default setting to not have a vignette. It is really annoying. 2. I also would like to have some of the presets as favorites, so I don’t have to go through all of the settings . 3. It would be nice to have a icon for the presets that actually represents what it would do to the image I am working on **Developer response:** Hey Frisco, Thanks for your feedback. Regarding your feedback: (1) Please check out the settings dialog by tapping the small icon in the top left corner of the start screen. Here you will find a Vignettes setting, where you can turn them off by default. (2) We are working on that feature and you will get this in a slightly modified version this year. Please fix. Thank you. ### 3/5 — Double check *2022-04-21, version 1.0.1* Double check your order on postcards, make the your picture is centered correctly before proceeding to payment, mine was up sideways view instead of being a straight view of picture ### 3/5 — Will try to make you pay *2021-11-26, version 1.0.0* Looked like a cool app and is good but only if you either have enough money or if you discover the loophole which is what I did So it’s ok and you will get better at it so don’t worry if your first paintings aren’t great . The loophole is obviously not as good as the payed version but a lot cheaper. The loophole is this: Take a screenshot of your painting.Adjust all of the editing tools out of the shot.Save to photo.
