Definitely a top 5 apps for me. However, I saw from someone who updated this app and now they require a subscription. I am an old user who did the one time purchase of a couple bucks. I am honestly not a fan of having another subscription. The one time payment was perfect/ pro consumer. Staying on the older version in the meantime, I do appreciate the easy to use experience and that may change my mind to get future updates. But, the way the older update is, works great so far. *update - Saw they made a pro version for 90$!? Literally went the other direction of pro consumer. I started with a 5 star review and keep going down. My 2nd review went down due to the need for extra touches, but I got used to it. I haven’t used the app in a long time, so I was really surprised upon opening this time. I’m not a fan of this new look at all. It gives so much information that is absolutely not needed for the transfer of anything. I don’t think it’s intuitive at all and it looks 100% different than the MacBook app, which makes it even more confusing. The MacBook app is the older version. I don’t use the app as frequently as I used to and I’m sure I’ll get used to it, but please stop trying to improve something that didn’t need improvement. So I just opened the app again and saw that a new update was available. Since all the reviews are very bad now, I was hoping the developer decided to go back to more of the original design. I read what was written in the App Store about the 1 day old update and it said pretty much that it was a new design. So I updated and nothing is different at all. Still very confusing to use and not intuitive at all! When I was creating movies from many individual’s photos, I used to make everyone purchase this app to do the transfers (before subscriptions). Got a new phone and installed from scratch - they’ve done some major overhaul to the web interface - I can no longer transfer photos from PC to my phone - there is no way from web interface to choose photos. It used to be so simple - just drag and drop. I see now that a week ago they updated the app “total revamp … blazing fast”. Yeah, maybe in your labs but now it doesn’t work. Sent feedback via app and didn’t even get acknowledgment of my issue. I hope you roll back or fix bug asap. I have to give kudos to the developers for honouring lifetime subscriptions as opposed to using loopholes to have us repurchase them similar to many other app creators. ### 5/5 — Unreal app *2026-02-12, version 10.1.5* Love this app easy to use and free woohoo ### 5/5 — Like the refreshed look! *2025-11-20, version 10.0.8* Update November 20, 2025: I can now officially not live without this app. I use it to connect two of my iPhones to my PC, I downloaded the Windows 11 app on my PC. I love seeing my images on a big monitor, easy to select and download/delete what you don't want. I kept getting you need to upgrade if you want to download multiple images, but then I realized after an iOS update, I needed to get back into settings and restore previous purchases. Now my lifetime pro subscription works like a champ. Also user error, I didn't realize the setting where the app transfers HEIC images into JPEG's automatically was turned off. Annoying me with downloaded images in that format that I can't open in my old version of Photoshop. But one quick swipe in settings, now I'm getting JPEG's downloaded again! So convenient, I just love this app. I tried many other (free) apps, none of them worked as beautifully as this one. So if I had to, I would be paying for this app all over again. Thank you to the developers. You do indeed get what you paid for. I just left a review, when I downloaded the app again, and now realize that it was refreshed. This is my go to app anyhow, I love it, it quickly connects, it gives me plenty of options, but now I see the fresh clean look.
