But the half baked ads all over the place ruin the user experience. You get a feeling that this is just a prototype designed to test the ads. Instead all I want is an app that simply uploads all my pictures to my PhotoPrism instance, much like Google Photos uploads them to Google (or used to, because they started charging an arm and a leg for it). That app would easily be worth say $5 to me. If it’s well done, even more than that. This, though, I cringe every time I use it. ### 4/5 — Grey Acreen *2022-06-05, version 1.0.2* After updating to the latest version, I’m unable to edit any of the server details. Works smoothly! *2024-07-21, version 1.0.5* In my experience, other ratings are not representing the latest versions. Just installed the server on an old raspberrypi, went very smoothly, then used this app to select and upload local photos. Worked like a charm. There are plenty of features to setup if you want more automation, and of course better to reach out to the website before rating a new app so low :( In my opinion the image selection UX can be improved. Similarly, the upload progress might be better on a different page where you can see what happens in large batches, in case you disconnect or the app goes to sleep etc. ### 5/5 — Отлично работает с моим Synology *2024-02-29, version 1.0.5* Установил на Synology контейнер докер, прокинл через обратный прокси и дднс четвёртого уровня photo.xxx.synology.me с поддержкой ssl. Приложение без проблем законектилось и сгрузило все фотки с телефона. Поэтому задачу свою выполняет, но хотелось бы конечно иметь возможно просмотра и русский язык. А то в вебе на русском, а в телефоне на английском. One of the things I like the most about this app is the simplicity of it. Previous review: Downloaded this app because I liked the simplicity of it. It does not upload to photoprism. I checked debug logs for photoprism and found that the API request from the app is 404’ing. I’m guessing an update to photoprism API caused this to no longer work. ### 5/5 — Gets the job done *2022-12-02, version 1.0.3* Isn’t fancy and doesn’t have a large amount of features but it works so I’m happy ### 5/5 — Upload on local Photoprism successful *2022-04-01, version 1.0.1* The app is kept simple but is working as expected. I use it to upload my images and videos to my local Photoprism Server. The metadata for taken images/videos works, only the images/videos from the WhatsApp folder does not contain any metadata. I like to have the chance to set a folder and name mask, because the standard don’t pass with my system. I organize my folders on quarter like yyyy-q1…q4/ an the names as yyyy-mm-dd-hh-mm-0001.jpg it would be sure possible to program a mask system like by nexcloud.
