When it does and I attempt to select a single video into a folder, the video never shows up in the folder. Some work, some don’t. I can’t recommend if you’re looking for something stable and dependable. I gave up there because even if I were to load all of my photos in, there seem to be no sorting or organizing features other than creating a new album. If you want to export your photos and videos just select the files you want to export and drag them out of Photo Vault to one of your Mac folders. ### 3/5 — Mostly good but needs some polish *2023-12-30* The app is fairly simple to use. The interface is mostly intuitive. The subscription price is quite reasonable. However, I can only give it 3 stars because of how cumbersome they have made managing the albums you create in Photo Vault. 1) There appears to be a limit to the number of photos you can put into an album. Once you reach the limit it does not say anything but when you attempt to add more photos to that album, the process begins and quickly the app crashes. If they cannot make it unlimited then stop us from putting more the X in the album. 2) Selecting photos in your albums is a test of patience because, unlike almost every other app on the market, when you click to select something and then hold down and move your finger to continue selecting, the list scrolls. You can’t do that in this app. You must click each and every image in your album to move or delete or whatever. If you have a thousand photos in there, yes, you must press to select one thousand times. It is almost 2024. This is still a thing? Seriously? 3) Expanding on 2), there is no Select All function when dealing with images in a Photo Vault album. Again: Seriously? 4) if you enable the feature to delete photos from the Apple Photos app once your have imported them, the feature does not always work. This may not seem like a big deal until you remember you selected 2,000 images inside the Apple Photos app’s album that has 10,000 images. Enjoy roaming through Apple Photos to find and remove the 2,000 photos now in Photo Vault. You had nothing else better to do, right? All this I learned in the first few hours of using the app. Very frustrated.
