I suppose for those that want instant gratification, this is OK; but, I need a dedicated and robust painting tool. An example is CleverPaint; but, its developer is apparently not supporting it in iOS12. It is so much fun! ### 4/5 — Powerful but needs more functions *2014-04-11, version 2.05* This is a powerful "painter" rendering engine, but I can only give it 4 stars because of the lack of user options. At a minimum there should be: • a "backup" slider that allows a user to adjust the amount of any effect, from 100% to 0%. If I find a look I like but it is too heavy, I should be able to reduce the effect until I'm happy with it. • an "undo" button that lets me step back through the last 5 - 8 changes, in cases where I need to go back in my experiments with color, density, saturation and etc. Sometimes I forget where I was, and need to jump back a step or 5. • a page of example photos that give me a general idea of how a change would look; by clicking on an example, my current work in progress would be rendered with the same presets, which I might never duplicate on my own. This list of functions would, in my view, greatly enhance the power of the app by giving more creative control to those who want it, while leaving the mostly click-and-watch functions to users who are satisfied with a mostly automated rendering function. Thanks for making this app available! ### 3/5 — Mittelmaß *2014-01-28, version 2.05* Nicht wirklich als Ölgemälde zu verstehen und die Feinabstimmungen nützen auch nicht viel. Allerdings taugt der Zufallsgenerator sehr gut um eigene Vorlagen, Texturen etc. für weitere Arbeiten zu erstellen. Erspart die kommerzielle Verwendung der Texturen anderer Massen Apps und sind auch noch Unikate. Lots of choices to send it places but not save it where it belongs, with my other photos. Why would this be? Control? This app doesn't work. Perhaps it's an issue with the upgrade to ios 7. The app will open but nothing else. I'm greeted by a blank screen with menu options I can't select and except for a close icon box. I tap on it and that allows me to tap on the open photo button but the only result of that is to revert to the close button icon. It seems to identify the subject and intensify it while knocking out the irrelevant details. Useful and good value. It does NOT allow u to paint, it can only render ur photo, which a million free apps had integrated the function. It's not very user friendly and the sample pics don't really reflect what you really see when you actually use the app. Maybe if the developer included some tutorials or sample default settings it would be better. Like I said - so glad I waited till it was $0.99...though I still am annoyed I had to pay for this. Its like visual brainstorming. They are also fast to reply with questions and problems. I own both the IOS and desktop apps and have only had to contact them once, but the reply was within and hour and the problem resolved right away. Awesome apps and company.
