## What is Photocairn?

Photocairn is a local file-copy and verification desk for user-selected images, movies, and audio, with user-selected destination folders and source-to-destination SHA-256 checks.

WHAT IT DOES
- Choose one or more media files from Files
- Choose a destination folder explicitly
- Copy with collision-safe destination names
- Run an independent SHA-256 comparison and show per-file exceptions

PRIVATE BY DEFAULT
No account, advertising, tracking, analytics SDK, or subscription. Workspace data stays in the app container. Imports, scans, device access, and network actions happen only when you request them.

IMPORTANT BOUNDARY
A backup is not complete until the independent verification pass succeeds and the destination is retained safely.
