### 5/5 — Perfect for any kind of notes!

*2020-02-06*

Great-grandma lives a thousand miles away and was always so sad to be missing her only great-grandchild’s milestones, so I send her an update about every two weeks of so. She just loves getting mail, and these cards are the best! I’ve tried other postcard apps, but these use much larger photos (great for 90-year-old eyes!) and I can select the font and size I want. Plus I can choose different “stickers” and stamps that go with my story. The app itself is very intuitive, but if you make a mistake it’s easy to correct. And the customer service is fast and efficient. I also use this app to send thank you notes, invitations, and birthday cards. Love it!

### 5/5 — YOU WILL LOVE THIS APP

*2020-01-16, version 15.3*

The postcards are beautiful. The print quality is second-to-none. The best card stock - and laminated. They are A-one.
I’ve been thrilled with all the cards I’ve sent and the recipients have loved each one. They deliveries have been speedy.
Service has surpassed all expectations -Thank you very much.

I received my first card today and it’s everything I I hoping it would be!
Love that the cards are customizable
It’s beautiful and high quality 🙂
I will use this app for all my future card needs
So much better than the cheap looking generic card in stores
Thank you so much!
Great idea!!

### 5/5 — Great quality, reliable shipping

*2019-12-23, version 15.3*

Been using this for several years now, very reliable! Love to surprise fam and friends with cards from this app

### 5/5 — Had this for years and it’s the best!

*2019-12-19*

We have used this app since our 1st generation iPad. We have never had any trouble. The postcards are beautiful and always timely delivered. But what sets this apart is service. More than once over the years we have used an incorrect address. They correct it and send a personal email explaining what happened and sending us .

Just great all around

### 5/5 — A Wonderful App

*2019-12-08, version 15.3*

I use this great app all the time to send photos to friends and family. We even use it as our holiday card with a family photo because the quality is so great.

### 5/5 — Love this app

*2019-11-28, version 15.3*

Heard about this app on TWIT podcast. I liked what they said about the developer and why he made this and so decided to try it. It is simply awesome. The lost art of sending physical postcards is now back - here in this app. I haven’t used the email stuff because why would you :) I use it to take a photo on holiday and then send it with a personal message to friends and family as a real printed postcard. I sent one to myself to test it (sent to Australia) and the quality is first rate! Love it!

### 5/5 — Simply fabulous

*2019-09-12, version 15.3*

This is the best app I’ve ever had, it is seamless.
I get to use my own photos as postcards and even for the stamps! I live in Aus but my family are in UK so it’s lovely for me to send photos as cards for all occasions. I’ve seen he quality and it’s top class. Please just keep doing what you’re doing!

### 5/5 — It’s by Bill Atkinson, of course it is excellent!

*2019-08-10*

I hardly ever send postcards, and haven’t yet used this app other than to glance at the introductory material, so don’t just take my word about this. Truth is, I found this app because I wondered if anyone had yet built a HyperCard app for iPhone (HyperCard was a wonderfully productive breakthrough app that Bill developed, and us outsiders could never understand why Apple had cancelled it.) Bill is already famous for being a (perhaps _the_) key inventor of the Macintosh; I hope he is as rich and happy as he deserves to be.

Back to the review—this already looks like one of the most professionally done apps on my iPhone. Come on, folks, it comes from Bill f’ing Atkinson, it’s gonna be perfect!

Added a few hours later: I have used it to send a card to my daughter. Now you can take my word for it— it is, as expected, outstanding!!

### 5/5 — Smiles all around

*2019-06-11, version 15.3*

What a lovely way to make people happy.

The original nature photographs are incredibly beautiful, a testament to the vibrancy of life and creativity.

Thank you for bringing a smile to both sender and receiver.

### 5/5 — Love the ease of this app

*2019-05-04, version 15.3*

We travel the world and this is the best way we have found to show our family what we are doing. The personalized photos really are impressive.

### 5/5 — Still Awesome

*2019-04-29, version 15.3*

This app is a great way to communicate with family and friends and to share photos of our trips. People still enjoy receiving physical mail that is personal, not junk. I enjoy seeing our postcards on our friends and family refrigerators when we visit them.

We have been using this app for years and always send one or two cards via postal service to ourselves to document our travels. We have great collection of memories.

We have used this to mail birthday and holiday greetings. We make custom stamps using pictures to make the cards even more personal.

Thank you Bill for this great service!

### 5/5 — The Very Best

*2019-04-28*

BETTER THAN FELT (review update)
I’ve played around with PhotoCard’s gorgeous new Felt competitor, and while their offerings are beautiful, the pricing is positively predatory...not clear at all, lots of nickel & diming, expensive...and I already know my family *loves* PhotoCards, so I’m sticking with Bill! Send a test card to yourself and see.

ADDICTION WARNING (review update)
Still hooked. And no desire to break the habit! When I first got this app, I thought, "Cool. I can use my own pictures to make postcards!" But Bill's photos are so good they're all I've used so far. Also? They're not "postcards," they're big, beautiful, glossy, envelope-free cards. Every person who's received one of these babies has told me how much they love it. My latest excuse to send some? Holiday time!

PREVIOUS REVIEW
I'm sorry. This app is just a little too good. It's exactly what I've always wanted—a way to send "real" mail from a computer. And iPad is made for this kind of thing. And when I needed some help, Bill came through above and beyond. Nuff said. Thanks, Bill!

### 5/5 — Awesome quality

*2019-04-18, version 15.3*

Love being able to easily send high quality photo cards to family and friends. The feedback I’ve received from recipients has been extremely positive. I have used it for many years now and updates have allowed me to continue to use this awesome app as I upgrade my devices. Thank you!

### 5/5 — I use it for thank-you notes too!

*2019-04-06, version 15.3*

I’ve sent about 7 post cards and love this app! So fun to send something that is high quality and unique. I also use the post card as a custom thank-you note, utilizing the photo area as an place to include a family photo, or some inside joke/meme. You’re the man Bill!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Buy Credits? NOT!

*2023-08-27, version 15.3*

Tried for 3 days now. Researched how to and still it blows me out of the app. Can’t use if it doesn’t take my money.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2020-12-02, version 15.3*

Spent hours trying get cards to 26 people. App is old and hasn’t even been updated for bugs in 2 years and is not compatible with current IOS versions. Constantly exits especially when trying to buy credits. Doesn’t tell you how many credits your buying or how much and then says your card information is invalid.

Should be removed from the App store

### 1/5 — Don’t let them steal your $$

*2020-10-07, version 15.3*

I purchased $40 in credits towards this service, however since then have been unable to redeem them. I received an email from the vendor offering me a refund, and when I took him up on the offer and said yes he told me he had changed his mind. DO NOT WASTE YOUR $$

### 1/5 — Deleted this app

*2020-03-13, version 15.3*

STOP MAKING ME SIGN UP FOR STUFF

### 1/5 — Mac

*2019-12-11, version 15.3*

I created a card. I purchased 5 credits and I tried to send my card and was told that I had to buy credits to send. I tried to report a problem and it closes the app. I waited another day and the same thing happened again. I did not get the credits.
I have never had this problem before. So disappointed …

### 1/5 — wow! Completely lame.

*2017-08-07, version 14.0*

The biggest obvious flaw, is when you try to add a bubble caption the app has you record an audio file. How in the world are you supposed to attach an audio file recording to a postcard that goes through the mail? Obviously no thought was put into this lousy app. And the clip art look like they come from the earliest computers, most are completely impractical for this app. I'm glad it was free, because it is just going to be deleted now.

### 1/5 — Poor delivery!

*2014-09-11, version 9.0*

Post card arrived over a week after I got back from holiday! Waste of money!

### 1/5 — Rubbish

*2013-08-28, version 7.0*

Don't waste your time with this, much better out there.

### 1/5 — FOR USA

*2012-06-02, version 5.2*

Don't bother if you're outside USA

### 1/5 — Don't bother

*2011-12-31, version 5.1.1*

Lucky it's free cause it's a dud. Too complicated and it doesn't work.

Deleted it after an hour.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Please get this going again

*2025-01-10, version 15.3*

This is one of the best apps in the App Store but it stopped actually mailing their beautifully printed post cards. The e version is great but I always got wonderful feedback when a big personal card was delivered. I used it personally and for biz.

### 5/5 — When is this app going to be able to print and mail again?

*2022-07-17, version 15.3*

I just love this app when you could mail actual postcards. Is this Peter going to be fixed?

### 5/5 — When can we print again??

*2022-01-12, version 15.3*

I use this app to send cards to grandkids. The printed result is superb. When will we be able to print again?

### 5/5 — Love this app!

*2021-12-27, version 15.3*

Fun to send, fun to receive.

dec 2021
I have yet to find a post card app that is a flexible. Adding stickers and customs stamps to the back is what makes a postcard personal.

There is a note of a new version coming 🤞🏽

### 5/5 — Billionaire Help Needed

*2021-08-13, version 15.3*

This WAS the BEST photo-card App around…

Alas, it no longer functions.

Let’s do a search for a bored billionaire to get it started up again…

OR…

A Go-Fund-Me Page‼️🤔🤔🤔….

### 5/5 — I love this app!

*2021-05-17, version 15.3*

I love Photo Card! It is easy and fun to use, well designed and a super value. The big, glossy postcards are gorgeous and my friends and family love to get them in the mail. They are prefect keepsakes. I have been sending Photo Cards for a decade. Highly recommend this app!

### 5/5 — Best Postcard App

*2020-09-07*

I love this postcard app — i am eager for Bill Atkinson to release the new version. While my adventures have come to a grinding halt since Covid-19, I still want to send postcards to my mother. She’s nearly 90 and no longer uses her computer, iPad nor iPhone without help — an emailed card will likely not be seen.
She still has some of the cards I sent her over the years pinned to her bulletin board - the quality of the printed copy is excellent, and as stood the test of time.
Looking forward with great anticipation to the day when we can print again!
Thank you for the excellent app.

### 5/5 — All time favorite app!

*2020-07-19, version 15.3*

Highest quality cards make your photos lasting memories and great gifts.

### 5/5 — Best PhotoCard and easy to use

*2020-06-08, version 15.3*

I found this app is the best full featured available. 👍👍 😎

### 5/5 — Excellent and great way to keep in touch

*2020-03-01*

I have been using this for over two years sending a weekly postcard to my now 2 year old grandson. His parents keep each one in a yearly three ring binder. This app is the best that I found: easy to use, numerous logical options, phenomenal printing, and consistency in quality and service. I have also sent to my siblings to keep in touch and they end up on refrigerators or their desks. Cost is very reasonable, OK, actually a great deal. When I purchased the app I did not know Bill Atkinson developed this but I should have known there was someone that is a genius with programming and a true artist. Thanks Mr Atkinson!
