## What is PhotoCloak EXIF Cleaner?

Photos carry more than the picture. Tucked inside almost every image is a block of metadata recording where it was taken, down to the street, what time, which camera, and often that camera's serial number. Post the photo and that goes with it.

PhotoCloak strips it out.

INSPECT BEFORE YOU SHARE
See exactly what is hidden in an image before you do anything: GPS coordinates, EXIF and TIFF headers, IPTC tags and camera MakerNotes. Each photo gets a privacy score from 0 to 100, so you can tell at a glance which ones are a problem.

SCRUB WHAT YOU CHOOSE
Remove everything, or pick what goes: GPS location, timestamps, camera serials, maker notes. Your call, photo by photo.

NO QUALITY LOSS
PhotoCloak rewrites the metadata and copies your original pixels across untouched. The image is never recompressed, so a scrubbed photo is pixel for pixel the one you started with. Originals are left alone unless you replace them yourself.

BATCH PROCESSING
Clean a whole set at once and see how much was removed.

NOTHING LEAVES YOUR DEVICE
This is the part that matters for an app like this. PhotoCloak contains no networking code at all. It cannot upload your photos because it has no way to make a network request. There is no account, no analytics, no crash reporting and no third-party SDK. It works in Airplane Mode, and you can check that yourself.

One purchase. No subscription, no ads, no upsell.
