## What is Photogether?

Photogether is the shared photo album for a real-world moment — a wedding, a workshop, a party, a kickoff, any gathering with a beginning and an end.

Create an album in under 30 seconds. Share the QR code. Everyone there joins with a tap — no account, no sign-up — and adds their photos to one album everyone can see. When the moment is over, the album expires and everything is permanently deleted.

HOW IT WORKS
• Create an album in seconds — every album has a clear end date.
• Share a QR code (or a short code) — people join instantly.
• Everyone adds photos from the camera roll or the share sheet.
• See every guest's photos in one live mosaic; download the ones you love.
• On the expiry date the whole album — photos, names, everything — is truly deleted.

NO ACCOUNTS, EVER
Participants never register. No email, no password, no profile. Joining is invisible and instant.

BUILT FOR PRIVACY
• Albums are stored encrypted — the photos, the album's title, and the names people give. Photogether holds the keys for as long as the album lives, so someone who joins by typing its code can be let in; this is not end-to-end encryption.
• Photogether never accesses your device location. Any location comes only from a photo's own camera data, reduced to a rough ~1 km area — never exact coordinates.
• Your name is only visible inside the album, and is deleted with it.
• Photos are stored in the European Union and truly deleted on expiry — not hidden, not archived.
• No feed, no followers, no advertising, no data sold.

NOT A SOCIAL NETWORK
There's no profile to maintain, nothing to scroll, nothing that lives forever. Photogether is for the people who shared one moment — and then it lets go.

Free to use.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.3.3 — 2026-09-24

• A slow connection no longer stops a photo from being added.
• Photos you share or pick no longer leave copies behind on your phone.
• When an album ends, what it left on your phone is removed too.
• The app no longer hangs at start when the network doesn't answer.

### 1.3.2 — 2026-09-22

• Changing your name reaches everyone in the album again.
• A notification about an album you host now opens it when you tap it.
• A photo that takes a long time to add no longer goes missing.
• An album that has ended stops asking you to finish adding to it.
• Less battery in the background, and lighter browsing of full-size photos.

### 1.3.1 — 2026-09-17

• A photo you save keeps the date it was taken, instead of the moment you saved it.
• Saved photos arrive with a readable name rather than a long code.
• New photos no longer announce themselves twice.

### 1.3.0 — 2026-09-10

• Photogether now speaks German, French, Italian, Spanish and Polish — the whole app, notifications included.
• Dates and times read the way your language writes them.
• Small fixes and polish.

### 1.2.2 — 2026-09-07

• Only the album’s host is now offered to make it bigger. A guest whose photo didn’t fit is told so, without an offer to buy.
