For the purpose of adding descriptions to the metadata this is very dangerous and instead of enhancement to your irreplaceable photo's you NOW have DATA LOSS - yes you loose the photo as it is deleted and not even saved in the deleted photos folder! I feel like I should be refunded! Want my money back. ## Most praised reviews (7 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — remarkable! *2022-11-28, version 3.1* I have tested many exif data viewing and editing apps including several pricey ones and Photo Notes is the best by far! It shows ALL available data possible (managing to extract and reveal data that the other apps could not) and allowing me to edit or delete ANY part of that data! The UI is beautiful: uncluttered and seamless and completely idiot-proof. I cannot understand the poor reviews? Perhaps the app needs updating for newer ios versions as admittedly I am still on 14+ but in my experience this app is the best in its class. The keyword option was fixed, works great. ### 4/5 — Very Good! *2012-04-08* I really think the app is very good, it can read keywords and metadata of pictures imported(saved from email pics). I would give it a 5 if it would allow some sort of search function, let's say for example search with keywords!! :-) ### 4/5 — PhotoNotes *2012-03-27* This excellent application allows metadata manipulation from iPhone in a fashion similar to exiftool and exiv2. It is particularly useful in adding gps data, keywords and descriptions at the time a photo is taken. Other users have panned the app because the results are not immediately visible on iPhone. They sure are visible when importing into DigiKam or other photo manager. If it had an option to overwrite the original file, I'd give it 5 stars. The application's making a copy of a picture is a little annoying. I had an old picture that I had scanned and I wanted to add a 1950's date. This will let you modify the date but only for this year.
