Photosets is a Unique & Innovative combo "Camera + Video Maker" app.
It supports both 8-bit & 10-bit Burst Photo Capture.
It includes both 8-bit & 10-bit Video Makers.
Captured 8-bit photos are stored inside "the Core" of the app, each set in their own folder, & accessible via the Vertical Scrollview on the app's Home view.
Captured 10-bit photos are stored in your Photosets/RGB3x folder, accessible via app's Main Menu (accessible via the app's Home view).
At the core of Photosets is a High-Perf, High-Resolution Timing Burst Photo Capture Engine, that supports both 8-bit 420 & 10-bit 422 capture, paired with a custom filesystem for captured 8-bit photos.

### 5/5 — Improved immensely the description

*2017-07-01, version 2.9.19*

I had given it a low rating because their original description amounted to hyping their product without explaining what it did. They have fixed that.

### 2/5 — Don't Understand

*2017-06-17, version 2.9.15*

Call me ignorant but I have zero clue how to use this. User guide is non-existent on the web site and the settings are just that. Wish I could make it work

### 4/5 — IAP Bought

*2017-06-13, version 2.9.14*

找不到 Photosets TV.

总闪退。

### 5/5 — Must vote 5 star to use

*2017-03-22, version 2.8.8*

Can't tell you anything about it

### 2/5 — A few update iterations and it might me something I'd use.

*2017-03-07, version 2.8.6*

First of all the UX is atrocious!
- It's not a big deal that you have to discover the functionalities by yourself, but the app would do best with a proper color theme and big descriptive icons.
- Plus there are some visual artifacts (labels remaining after having deleted a particular burst for instance).
- The custom watermark cannot be edited once set, nor disabled. I uninstalled to try again at the prompt but it reverts to a default watermark and prompts you to add one everytime.
- The app crashes randomly upon playing a burst.

On the second install I was prompted to review the app, while I had already, to unlock a secret feature "that filmmakers use"! I'm not sure it worked as I didn't notice anything new. I hope it's chroma keying!

I think the Wide Color Gamut is lost when exported as ACDSee Pro doesn't read the color profile as P3 in EXIF data. The sRGB one is recognized accordingly, in contrast.

What this app basically does is snap full photos in a burst, as fast as your device allows it, for like half a second.

This would depend on the device processing and storage write speed. I got 15-25 frames (~240 MB/s) on P3 setting, and 13-16 frames (~240 MB/s) on sRGB. This is repeatable and is unusual, the sRGB one theoretically should have yielded more frames.

Then you can choose favorites to export (limited to JPG), and select a specific framerate to make a small video out of.

Not sure what's the dev hype is about though, but all the best for whatever you're trying to achieve!

### 5/5 — Nice

*2017-03-03, version 2.8.6*

Great app for wide pics

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2017-02-23, version 2.8.5*

Great app

### 5/5 — Brilliant !

*2017-02-22, version 2.8.5*

Such a great app!

### 5/5 — Excellent innovation for iPhone photography

*2017-02-15, version 2.8.5*

This is an excellent innovation for iPhone photography, imho.

### 1/5 — Terrible!

*2017-02-09, version 2.8.3*

First of all, the app obligates us to give a review to open a secret feature! This is very annoying! Besides, the secret is sooo secret that I have not discovered it yet! Also, the usability is terrible and it's not intuitive! I've read about what it does, but I cannot do anything with it... Please, improve it!!

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 26.5 — 2026-05-22

● Adds a Fix for the Tele 4x/8x 10-bit Capture issue.
● Covers both 422 & Grayscale.
● Also, we've updated the Capture Specs:
● 8-bit 420: up-to 75 photos/set
● 10-bit 422 & Grayscale: up-to 20 photos/set
---
● Please note that Photosets uses (& has always used) the Apple Camera Framework that does NOT generate sound during Capture.

### 26.4 — 2026-05-07

Important Refinements & Bug Fixes !
---
Please note that Photosets uses (& has always used) the Apple Camera Framework that does NOT generate sound during Capture.

### 26.3 — 2026-04-24

● Another BIGGIE !
● We're pivoting Photosets from a Best-in-Class "plain-vanilla" Burst Photo Camera App, to one that's focused on ML & Physical AI.
● For starters, v26.3 includes expanded capture support for those here in the States.
● And by that we naturally mean the Base version of the app, since Photosets has NO IAPs.
● Specifically, the "Premium Capture" limits as specified by the tables on our Home Page.
● Basically, a doubling of everything except 8 Mpx, which is already Max'd-Out in the Base version.
● And for clarity, we've NEVER gone live with the "Premium Capture" sub.
● And we may NEVER do so.
● It was a key part of the plain-vanilla strategy.
● It's NOT part of our ML & Physical AI strategy.
● The core of our ML & Physical AI strategy is properly Annotated Data (derived from Photosets).
● And maintaining a Repository of that properly Annotated Data.
● Photosets is just the Front End Tool to achieve that.
● Doesn't hurt that it's Best-in-Class when it comes to Burst Photo Technology & Domain/Application/Use-Case support.
---
● Three reminders:
1.) Lossless 10-bit 422 Burst Photo Sets consume alot of NAND Flash Storage Space; as such, Use with Caution.
2.) If you're starting from Idle & you try to capture more than 30 photos/set, Photosets will step that down to 30 photos/set to ensure capture occurs with High-Precision Timing.
Exit the Camera & RE-enter it to capture more than 30 photos/set in such (Idle Startup) situations.
3.) To access the Camera's "4K30 / 4K60/ 4K120" control, tap the Camera's UI (supported iPhones that support 4K120 Burst Photo Capture).
---
● Please note that Photosets uses (& has always used) the Apple Camera Framework that does NOT generate sound during Capture.

### 26.2 — 2026-03-31

Important Refinements & Bug Fixes, plus Code Clean-up.
Note also:
1.) Concurrent Audio capture is (now) limited to the 17P, 17PM, 17, & Air, plus the M4+ iPad Pro.
2.) A Heads Up, Next-Gen Multi View Capture (MVC) will be limited to the 17P, 17PM, & Air, plus the M4+ iPad Pro.
Supported MVC "masters": M4+ iPad Pro
Supported MVC "slaves": iPhones with per-GPU Neural Accelerators.
For clarity, NG MVC has NOT yet been released.
---
Please note that Photosets uses (& has always used) the Apple Camera Framework that does NOT generate sound during Capture.

### 26.1 — 2026-02-18

Important "mostly Camera UI" Refinements & Bug Fixes !
---
Please note that Photosets uses (& has always used) the Apple Camera Framework that does NOT generate sound during Capture.
---
Please also note that the app's App Store Rating was Reset upon the release of this update.
