PhotosHere 1.0.3 is the first release with widgets and extensions. Here’s what’s new: Widget, Live Activity, and more Home Screen Widget See how many photos you took at your current location, with previews of your most recent shots. Available in small, medium, and large sizes. Dynamic Island & Lock Screen Follow nearby photo scans from a Live Activity. Turn this on via Settings → Nearby photo updates. Background Updates With Nearby photo updates enabled and Always location access, the widget and Live Activity can refresh when you arrive somewhere new (after you’ve moved roughly 150m+). Apple Watch Smart Stack Add the PhotosHere widget to Smart Stack on your watch to see your nearby photo count (and previews when synced from your iPhone). What’s New screen The first time you open this version, you’ll see a summary of new features. You can also open it again from Settings → What’s New.

PhotosHere accesses your device's Photo Library to read your images and their embedded location data (geotags). It then uses your current location, when in use, to find photos taken within a specified radius.

The free version allows you to search within a 650 ft radius and view up to 40 nearby matches. This provides a good starting point for discovering location-based memories.

The lifetime unlock is a one-time purchase that removes the search radius and match count limitations. You can search up to 5,000 ft and see all matches. Purchase restoration is supported.
