Tends to wash colors together on edges where colors meet. Immediately bought it. It works absolute wonders...easily...with just the right amount of adjusters. Feedback: AI is great, but should not be the only option when first interacting with the program, particularly if you have just one B&W photo to colorize. I usually use manual mode instead of AI batch. I wish it had a zoom slider in manual mode along along with the existing keyboard shortcuts to zoom. The color indicators are nice but I find that I can't colorize a very small area like a red apple without changing the color of the tree leaves. It almost needs some type of mask or paintbrush feature. I thought it would be "magical", but isn't. I tried it on a picture that isn't all that old. Automatically, all it did was colorize the face but not much more and that color was rather pale. Yes, I can manually select an area and color it, but I don't want to do that. For $18 I expected better. The demo video helps, but a little deeper written explanation on how to use the sliders and the selection dots would really help. What usually happens is when one image face is still black and white and you try to add flesh tone to just that image face, the whole area changes color. But, after the results, my heart sank. Twenty bucks down the drain. Anyone who's ever used the MyHeritage.com photo colorizer (you need to subscribe to MyHeritage), will immediately see the huge difference. This app seems to have trouble defining faces (among other things). It 'generally' places some flesh tone with very soft, ill-defined edges and treats much of the rest of the image in the same way. I wish I had a way to show you both versiions of a photo I tried... one using this and one using MyHeritage. VERY disappointed. Is simple to use and outputs quality colourised photos. I love the ability to very easily adjust the colours in the photo. Far superior to other more expensive products I have used. It’s horrible. I had scans from a yearbook. If Adobe was smart, they’d buy this guy out and integrate his code. It’s a reasonably priced solution.
