First I was skeptical because they are one of the less expensive brands out there. But boy was I wrong. Conclusion, I love my tiles, they are crisp and clear. Shipping was fast. Pricing for the quality is amazing. Customer service was top notch. I ordered about 11-12 tiles about a week ago. 2 of them were having trouble sticking and kept falling to the ground, ultimately damaging the tiles. I wrote an email, got a response promptly, and was sent replacement tiles, AND an envelope with extra stickies. Their customer service is a joke. They tried to cheat the system by using the same printing label on two boxes so I had to pay for the shipping. I had to fight them on that. The tiles came damaged and now half aren’t sticking to the wall. They take forever to respond to you if you can get a response and it never is anything to fix the issue. Their email is “we can’t control how usps” works when that isn’t the issue. The issue is they tried using the same shipping label for two packages so they didn’t have to pay it. They are a horrible company and don’t take the blame for anything. Find a new company that has better customer service because this company is a joke! **Developer response:** Wishywashy123 - I do apologize regarding your recent experience. Horrible customer relations from the director. *2019-07-16, version 1.61* My first experience using Phototile was good. The quality was not as good as Mixtiles but I knew I could save a few bucks. This time, I was planning to send them to my mother who is not well. While I was ordering them, I was not given the option (at least I didn’t think I was) to put my mother’s address down. I asked before the item would have been shipped through email. After, they shipped them to me directly, the director tells me it is too late. I asked for money to reimbursed for having to shipped them out again or for them to find a way to correct the problem. I don’t know if it was a glitch in the system or not but I find it extremely unprofessional to write to me that I simply “forgot to change the address”. I have recommended several people personally to this app but now I am going to share my experience. Maybe I am old school but there is something to be said about the customer is always right or, at minimum, try not to antagonize them after something goes wrong. **Developer response:** Thank you for used to supporting us. I do regret that this experience has made you not want to do business with us anymore. I do apologize that we are a humane company and we do not want our employees to work on weekends. Therefore, your email that was sent on Saturday wasn't read until Monday when the automated machine already printed out your order and shipped out. Subject to applicable law, we will not refund any amounts if your dissatisfaction with the Tile(s) is due to a mistake on your part or simply because you have changed your mind. " ### 2/5 — Large order, cheating postage *2020-05-15, version 1.84* I ordered 54 tiles and got a tracking number last week for them. Received them today to find I got 24. Post office says that they tried using duplicate postage labels so they got sent back. As of now, no response from their customer service. I find it for plain out rude for someone to spend this kind of money and they try to cheat on the shipping. I will say that the 24 I did receive look great. Once again, I am sincerely sorry regarding this issue. ### 2/5 — Disappointed *2020-04-07, version 1.84* The first time I ordered from this app was awesome and I recommended it to so many of my friends... but this time I got cheap plastic tiles instead of the heavy duty foam ones I got the first time. I hate how they switched the product and didn’t tell you when you were ordering. The old foam tiles are way better quality and they look so much better than the plastic ones. **Developer response:** Hi jaclynr14 - I do apologize for this inconvenience. It's more environmentally friendly than styrofoam (since you cannot recycle styrofoam.) Please email us at service@phototileapp.com and we shall try to resolve this issue. ### 2/5 — DON’T waste your money using their service! *2020-01-24, version 1.76* A few weeks ago, I purchased 18 tiles from this company and was so excited! After removing from packaging I was still impressed until 2 days later when I decided to hang them up. Upon doing so, I noticed my pics were printed out and just slapped on top of the canvas and was bubbling from the edges. They hadn’t glued the edges well enough to ensure this from occurring. Very disappointed! I should have went with Mix Tiles as I had used them prior. BETTER quality for your dollar. I didn’t return the tiles because I’ve got them on my wall already and can’t just throw them away. Some reviews aren’t accurate and meant to deceive future customers. Could you please email us at service@phototileapp.com, we will either reship or refund. ### 2/5 — Photos blurry and poor quality *2018-08-12, version 1.27* I ordered 17 prints from our trip to Canada and the photos were extremely dark and blurry. Photos were taken on a new iPhone and printed colors are dark and poor quality. Ordering was easy and shipping was fast but wouldn't use again. ### 3/5 — Grainy pics *2018-12-14, version 1.44* Like my title says, the pics are grainy- despite being professional grade. Looks ok from far away, but grainy and blurry once you get close. Disappointing as I wanted the little details to stand out. With that said, the 3 tiles were $25, which isn't awful, but I wouldn’t order again after seeing the 3 I just received. App worked easily and was very user friendly. Please email us at service@phototileapp.com and we will resolve this issue ASAP ### 3/5 — Easy use, quick delivery, cheap *2018-08-18, version 1.30* My tiles came in a box the exact size of the tiles with one piece/slice of bubble wrap the size of a single tile and a piece of paper the same size as a single tile, not enough to prevent any damage. Due to the cheap/delicateness of the foam board, one of the edges of a photo is slightly dented. Not enough to bother my husband but it’s there and we’re giving these as a gift so it bothers me. I am disappointed with the quality of the tile. The image was great but the quality isn’t for me. If it didn’t actually look like a block of black foam. If something was done to cover the sides maybe I would feel different. I gave 3 stars because the app was incredibly easy to use, the photos were here in less than a week (perfect for a last minute gift) and just because these aren’t for me isn’t to say they aren’t for everyone. **Developer response:** Hi 6Tina - Thank you so much for your feedback. I would have given it five stars if one of the tiles hadn’t come out blurry. However, the rest of the tiles are beautiful. I would definitely be ordering more. Hopefully I don’t get blurred ones like the one. The price is cheap and affordable. The only downfall is that is made of a styrofoam. I was expecting a better material.
