Excellent, finally an app that can create “smart albums”, by picking specific conditions (date range, media type, location, etc.) and even combining them together.

I have purchased a Mac two months ago and I still can’t believe that smart albums are available only on macOS and not on iOS devices!

Tips for the 5th star:
- insert the possibility to add a range between two dates;
- the greatest thing would be to insert a “smart album” into the Photo app: that would be rule-breaking.

I love this app. I almost forgot about it… after changing phones. Enough time went by so that to my good fortune, when I finally got it back they had made some great updates! Awesome way to be able to sort through endless photos! Good job guys!!

What's great about this is the way it sorts out all the pictures in newest order first. 

What it does not show is the Albans created in apples photo apps. 

Also is disappointing that you cannot size the mini pictures

I really wanted to use a smart album on iPad which shows all my photos that are not in albums. This app helps me do that. Great! But the reason that I use this app is to identify photos not in an album and move them to albums. But with this app you can add a photo to an album but you have to know and type the exact name of the album or else if you mistype it creates yet another album. When you try to choose an album, it doesn’t list all of your Photos albums to choose from. I have dozens of albums. There is no way I can remember the exact name of each one of the albums!

Good app but need to have photos information will be the best.

**Developer response:** Thanks for your feedback. We just added a new image detail viewer that allows you to view all image metadata and view precise photo location on a map. Please give it a try.

This is a wonderful photo organizer. It instantly organizes, sorting by date, location, camera model,etc. you. An create smart albums (in app purchase, but only $.99).

It pulls from photos already stored on the iPad, so no need to import and save, and no extra capacity constraints.

I have tried many organizers, searching in vain for the perfect one.  This comes close, and will go to 5 stars with a few more features.

I have thousands of pictures, from all over. Trying to remember what date or year is impossible.  Thus the ability to locate by place is critical.

Since I've this App I'm no longer afraid to find any of my 3000 photos available. Orders by date or location and puts nice tags under every photo with date information. Perfect!

The app crashes and restarts about halfway through the photo parsing. When I reopen the app, it begins the parsing process all over and the same thing happens each time. iPhone 13 mini, iOS 16.6.1

It seems like a good app, but it ignores photos that I have transferred to my ipad from the SD card of my camera.

The app has asked me to rate it one hour after I purchased the Smart Folder option. I would give users more time to explore the app, but hey, If you want to start hounding me for a rating this soon, here goes: yes you can sort pictures according to metadata criteria, but afaik, you cannot simply add a picture to that album - I guess because it doesn't meet the criteria. Or can you? I don't know, because I can't find support for this app - only Timewerks (by the same developers). You wanted me to review this after one hour - here you go.

I hate the fact that Apple only lets you make smart albums on the PC since going iPad only i haven’t been able to use smart albums. This App is the perfect solution! 

**One side note: 
The biggest reason I like smart albums is so I can make an album that shows me what photos are not sorted in other albums. It really helps clean up old junk photos. However, I did notice that the album I created on this app shows a couple old photos that do not show up on my mac smart album. Idk where the discrepancy is, but all and all this does the job!

Ok, first why another phot app? Well have you ever wanted to create an album from your photos app but using the a date, location, camera type? Nope, bet you can’t! Not without this app! The app lets you create automatically updating smart albums based on criteria *you* want. Shoot multiple cameras and want dynamic albums, this app is for you! Want to zero in on any photos you took in July on the forth for every year? Yep this app can do that!  No need for a cloud account, all the sorting is on your phone!! 

As a multiple camera shooter, I use Photos as part of my work flow and this app is completely invaluable!! The dev is responsive (yes, even on the 4th of July!) and agreeable to feedback!!

Worth the purchase!!

I almost never write reviews, but this app is a godsend! iCloud Photo Library is great but you cannot search with date range or other parameters without a Mac (Smart Album). Photowerks offers Smart Album and the ability to export to a regular album in the Photo app. Photowerks makes iCloud Photo ten times more powerful!!

For some time now I've been gnashing my teeth over the fact that there is no built-in capability for users to create Smart albums in the iOS version of Photos. 

This app does a fine job of implementing a Smart album feature for us iPad users.

The dev is responsive in answering questions and is open to suggestions.

The search is over. This sorts and allows me to create smart albums based on exif data. Seriously works! 

Tip:
When you go to create a smart album the selections scroll side to side. It took me a bit to figure that out. I thought it didn't work at first, but it does...
