I hate these sorts of Apps. Deceptive marketing at its finest. Don't purchase, you only get free access to the brief overview. These devs are full of themselves and are not interested in helping their budding community.

This app is alright for the basics but they charge you $3 for only like 1 hour worth of study. I’d say it’s more cost effective to use the free options online such as freeCodeCamp. PHP bites isn’t terrible though if you don’t mind throwing away $3 to learn very basic PHP. Don’t expect to come out of this app coding any sort of real program, it only teaches you the basic concepts which are essentially the same as javaScript with some syntax differences.

As an app for an iPad or iPhone, which have small screens, this app uses a very small font. This would be a far better app if there were a choice of how large the viewer wanted the font to be.

I'm a relatively new software developer and I've been using this app now for about 3 hours as I'm about to start work on a PHP project and need to get my head around the syntax. 

This is an excellent way to get started and immediately immerses you in the practical application of PHP. 

It's clearly taken an enormous effort to write this and the attention to detail is superb. 

The first chapter is free and then a one off cost of £2.29 to unlock the rest of the program. Considering you will learn object oriented processes and database interaction as well as the basic operator, conditional behaviour stuff, I really think it's worth the money. 

A great pocket resource for PHP development.

-customer service is awesome! I reported a problem and they fixed it the next day!!!
-progress circles on the main pg.
-When I get an answer wrong/correct, a sentence or 2 of real dialogue explaining why appears!
-Covers a ton of main ideas & topics

Cons
-Wish each tidbit was 2 pages of interactivity rather than 1 to help me really understand the topic.
