You can open PhraseLift, complete setup, configure your languages, and add the keyboard without an account or purchase. Cloud-powered translation and writing actions require a PhraseLift account. PhraseLift Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription with monthly and annual plans for expanded access. Your App Store account is charged only after you confirm a purchase, and you can manage or cancel subscriptions in Apple ID settings.

To generate a translation or improvement, the keyboard requires Full Access and sends the text you submit to PhraseLift's service and its AI provider. See the privacy policy for details.

### 1.0.13 — 2026-09-17

Setup now asks which language you speak and which you are learning, so PhraseLift is ready before you open the keyboard. After onboarding, Continue to your account opens Apple and Google sign-in, with email and password available if you need it.

### 1.0.12 — 2026-09-16

Ad measurement is now your choice. If you enable it, PhraseLift shares limited app activity, purchase, and device signals with Meta to help measure which ads lead to app use and subscriptions. Change your choice anytime in Settings. Your messages, email, onboarding answers, and PhraseLift account ID are never sent for this measurement. Apple’s separate tracking permission controls whether the advertising identifier is available.

We also improved keyboard reliability when you translate or improve longer drafts, paste text, and move the cursor.

### 1.0.11 — 2026-09-14

This update fixes two keyboard issues:

• Translate and Improve now use the entire text field, including multiple sentences and paragraphs.
• Insert replaces the original draft instead of adding the result to it.

Text handling is also more reliable with long messages, emoji, selected text, and cursor changes.

### 1.0.9 — 2026-09-11

Read longer keyboard translations and improvements with scrolling, and see a clear Inserted confirmation after applying a suggestion. Settings is simpler, and the app icon now keeps its peach-and-white appearance in both light and dark mode.

For Learning preview accounts, this update adds a streak and progress drawer, simplifies the Speak icon, and moves the Classic/Learning switch into Settings → Developer.

### 1.0.8 — 2026-09-10

This update improves navigation and reliability in PhraseLift’s Learning experience. Settings now stays directly accessible, and switching between Learning and Classic modes works consistently.
