Furthermore, app support has been very responsive to feedback on the few questions that were self contradictory. Kudos to the developer/support staff. There are a ton of questions and they do update them. You can take a quiz by specialty if you're weak in one area, or you can shuffle the whole deck. Quizzes can be set for 5-25 questions. As soon as you answer one you get feedback on why the right choice was right and the others wrong. I passed the PANCE, but I still use this app occasionally just to test myself and brush up. I will definitely use it when it comes time to take the PANRE. I highly recommend this for any PA Student or practicing PA. ### 4/5 — I like it! *2017-01-20, version 1.6* I appreciate the variety of the questions. I like being able to modify the test format. The discussion of correct vs. incorrect is reasonable and logical. In general it is a use tool for studying. My subscription will run out May 19th. (Still says this on the app and also says I’m on the monthly subscription). Says cancel anytime, so I canceled so I wouldn’t forget to cancel it (like I did last time). The app worked for several hours, but now it’s like I never purchased at all. No questions beyond the free ones and no explanations. I would like either my money back or access to the questions I paid for. I really do like this app and I will change my star review once this is rectified. ### 1/5 — Upgraded but it won’t unlock anything *2018-10-11, version 5.24.0* Paid to upgrade after my free trial but I’m still locked out despite paying the monthly fee. Now they are saying I need to purchase it again for another $50. Seems dishonest and I am very disappointed ### 1/5 — Entire history LOST! *2012-09-25* I'm VERY frustrated and disappointed in this app right now. I just upgraded my iPhone to iOS 6.0. When I re-opened my PAID version of Lange Q&A, the app required me to re-activate my purchase. Doing so caused me to lose the ENTIRE history of questions I had already viewed (over 700) and questions I had specifically flagged (over 100). Many, many hours of history...LOST. This app needs updated to work correctly with iOS 6.0 and not lose a user's history. Refund anyone? I'll be glad to edit my review if you offer a fix for this. ### 2/5 — Better before the update *2017-02-13, version 3.23* This app was better before the "update". Curiously the background is nearly identical to two other apps. However, it freezes almost every time I open the app. Please work on this, as it is currently not worth the money I paid. But I have found several questions that have the wrong answer choice selected. The "correct answer" is in complete contradiction with the explanation below the answers. I think it would be helpful for the questions to be reviewed, and make sure that the correct answer is tagged as the "right answer". ### 3/5 — Good review material *2014-10-07, version 1.0* I really wish this app had iCloud sync ability so that if I am on the phone in the morn, then iPad at night I could sync my quiz logs and statistical data. Other than that it's built pretty well. Keyword search would be nice also to hone in on specific items. Quizzes are timed, and then you receive a percentage and intelligent question-by-question feedback afterward. The downside is that you only get about 40 questions before you are required to buy the 50$ question bank. The app also freezes from time to time. But I’m focusing! ### 5/5 — Good daily practice *2019-05-08, version 6.8.4625* The app works very well. I use it on most days. The PANCE is more than a year away for me. I mostly the app it to do pharmacology questions, since that’s my weakest area. I’m pretty sure that they recently changed it to be a monthly fee. I got it back when it was a one time fee. They honored such memberships, so I’m quite happy about that. My only complaint is that the daily goal has to be within the range of 20-100. It would create a greater sense of accomplishment for app users to actually achieve their daily goal. I never do 20 questions in one day. This is simply a small bit of supplemental learning that I use. I’m not sure why the daily goal forces users to choose at least 20 daily questions. Developers, great work. Also, please decrease the daily goal lower range value to 1.
