Piaggio Multimedia Platform (PMP) is the innovative app that completes the accessory installed on your Piaggio scooters. The app establishes a wireless connection between your vehicle and your iPhone transforming it in a sophisticated multifunction on board computer, always on the Net. Thanks to your suggestions we improved the app layout and optimized the graphics for iPhone 5 and iPhone 5s. Several new functions has been added for your safety and riding pleasure. The PMP accessory is now available on MP3 MY 2014 and Vespa GTS with ABS-ASR systems. Vespa models are fully integrated in the Piaggio app. Information. The iPhone touch screen panel allows you to choose five parameters among a big number. Speedometer, rpm indicator, engine power and torque, instant and average fuel consumption, average speed, battery voltage, longitudinal acceleration and extended trip computer: these are but a few of the functions available. Forgot the blinker on? The blinking of the virtual dashboard (and a sound) reminds you to avoid dangerous situation in traffic. The “ECO RIDE” function guide you in order to achieve optimal fuel consumption with an eco-compatibile riding behaviour. An evaluation of your results is diplayed during the trip. With PMP you can store all the journey data and review them later, on your computer. In the easiest way, your will be able to analyse your trip and riding style thanks to a host of parameters acquired by the app in real time. Easy journey Piaggio PMP boasts a series of contents that are meant to enhance the riding safety. If fuel is low, the system automatically tells you which petrol stations are closest and guides you to the one you chose on the map*. The general analysis function allows you to check vehicle status, recommending - in case of an anomaly - what to do, indicating the nearest authorized dealer you can go to*. PMP automatically stores the last position of the vehicle before the engine is switched off, and gives indications if you forget where you parked it.* On ABS-ASR versions PMP includes the exclusive function for monitoring of tire inflation, warning the rider in case of potentially critical situations.** While accelerating, the “Grip Warning” function gives you real time information about road conditions thanks to the ASR sensors. A dedicated warning icon appears gradually in case of limit conditions. You can set specific thresholsd for speed and roll angle. Dedicated warning lights are activated if the limits are excedeed. Exclusive software With the synergic use of gyroscopes and vehicle signals, your iPhone/iPod becomes an astonishing roll angle estimator in the bends thanks to a proprietary algorithms. Can’t even scroll the manuals or get anything to work. Horrible design and refuses to link with my new Active 1 scooter. The only thing more useless than the app is the dealership where I bought the scooter. They are totally clueless about anything to do with this scooter. Daiii! ### 4/5 — Great app *2017-06-17, version 3.3.1* Having the dash up higher and customized to what I want to know, it's worth the money to install it. Good info at a glance and even more with a few swipes. The most recent update fixed several bugs and now it works smoothly. The only bug I can find, it defaults to a 19mph speed warning. Would be great if we could set it and have it stay until we changed it again, but each time you load the app, it defaults to 19mph. Seriously, this is a minor annoyance at most, everything else seems to work as desired. ### 1/5 — Absolutely the worst *2017-05-23, version 3.3* App crashes often and is terrible.
