## What is Piano Companion?

You already play a few chords. You just can’t always name them — and a symbol like Cmaj7#11 on a lead sheet still reads like a code nobody taught you.

Piano Companion closes that gap. Press the keys on screen, or play them on your MIDI keyboard, and the app names the chord straight away — press C and G and C Major comes back first. Open any chord or scale and you see what it is actually built from: the notes on the grand staff, the intervals, the degrees, the fingering for both hands, and the other chords that fit the same key. Theory stops being a wall of terms and becomes something you can see and hear.

The Piano Companion app shows chord and scale notes on the grand staff, degrees, relative scales, intervals, fingering for both hands in major and minor scales – and you can contribute your own custom fingering too. You can practice scales in different keys and clefs, practice progressions. Additionally, you can listen to how a scale or chord sounds in the loop or arpeggiated. You can see the list of compatible chords in the selected scale or list of compatible scales for a selected chord. 

The app helps you to compose, practice progressions and experiment with different chord progressions using our Chord Progression Builder with relative or common chords.

アプリ内購入だったのがいつの間にかサブスクに移行していて値段も爆上げ。ギターのコードも表示出来なくなっているし、内蔵楽器も音が鳴らないうえに選べないバグも放置されたまま。なぜストアに残っているのか理解できない。

I paid for the pro version on both my Apple and android devices when it cost I think maybe $5. This was a high price for an app then, but I felt this app was worth it. I loved the chord/scale search functionality and interface. I am unable to restore my purchases now. I would gladly pay $5 again for a new license, but I cannot explain or justify paying almost $100 for what this app does. A few beautiful functions applied to an extensive library is not such powerful computing. Besides, if I spent that outrageous cost, how long can I expect them to honor my purchase? Will they revoke my license again once they convert to subscription based access?

basically the App is Great, but: it crashes frequently when playing with a Midi Keyboard connected on an IPad M2 which makes it useless. Also I am really sad that  the chord detection doesnt really work will with more than five keys pressed.
Please fix that.
