No MIDI EXPORT! *2021-08-14* Please UPDATE this app to be able to export MIDI out. My compositions are trapped and I can get just an audio file back. Why? Who uses MIDI without the option to work with it or export it to be able to work with it? PLEASE !!! It’s a little inexpensive Upgrade for MIDI export. A good programmer can do it in a few -minutes/hours. Just save it as MIDI and allow it to be able to be exported as saved. No conversations- nothing. As is! Please Yamaha- live up to your standards! Do Something logical, rational, needed, useful, satisfy the basic expectations at least! Or you should had warned on the App upfront: you will record MIDI without MIDI functionality! Use at your risk!!! Why are features locked until I share my music with people who don’t care about me or want to hear my music? Besides even if I did want to share, you have no clipping tool to allow me to cut out the first hour of practice and creation so I have to hope I get it right after I stop and then restart and play it perfectly on attempting it again. It’s the little things that show you put some thought into an app that make the difference... ### 4/5 — Needs Video Recording *2018-01-26* This app is great for recording audio, but it would be nice if video could be recorded too. That way a full performance could be shared. Yamaha’s My Recorder app has this functionality, but it doesn’t support Midi to Audio Playback; you can only hear audio playback if you are still connected to your keyboard. It would be great if they could combine these apps so that we can record video and keyboard input and replay them both without needing the keyboard. ### 1/5 — Outdated!! *2017-06-01* It's so outdated that it's worthless! I can't believe Yamaha is behind this. ### 1/5 — Comically outdated app *2016-06-10* This app hasn't been updated in over four years; it is apparently completely unsupported by Yamaha US. Ironically, there is a frequently updated version of this in the Japanese App Store that is unavailable in the US.
