### 4/5 — But

*2021-05-13, version 1.4.2*

I love this app but I believe that I just found an error. I was playing and I got an incorrect note. But when I looked at my error and saw the note and a Flat next to it I decided to snap a screenshot which I saved in my photos. When I checked the photo, I saw that I had played the correct note. I want to be fair, so I’m going to do it again and see if I find any more errors. If not, I will update my review and give the app five stars. Stay TUNED.

### 4/5 — Missing score board

*2019-11-15, version 1.4.2*

I’ve been looking around for apps to help my students learn how to read faster. This app is great, but I wish that there would be a score board platform so that kids can compete with each other or compare their scores. My students need more motivation and competition makes them learn faster.

### 2/5 — Wasted my money

*2016-01-22, version 1.3.5*

It's okay, not very intuitive and gets the student into bad habits, like not being able to identify which Key on which octave you are playing. It's good as a simple exercise for first time sight readers, but I was looking for something more organized

### 4/5 — Useful with room for improvement

*2015-02-22, version 1.3.3*

First of all: this app is very useful - helped me to improve note reading significantly. Still it there is room to improve to earn the 5th star:
- a small bug: if there are many notes with accents the last note moves over the edge of the screen
- wrong scope of accents: different to real notes the accent is valid only for the very next note - hence bar lines should be introduced
- urgently need a mode to have both keys on one screen
- in general: limitation for 6 lines is a pain
- to learn reading with a constant pace it would be useful to have a clock tick or a visual pace maker + measurement of constance (histogram, mean value, standard deviation, etc.)
- last not least: complement random notes with some typical harmonic patterns
And yes ... I would be willing to pay for these additional features 😃

### 5/5 — Great app!!

*2014-10-29, version 1.3.2*

Fun app to help with sight reading. Worth every penny and then some so long as you stick with it and practice. Great part is you can play this app without sound and still get all the perks of it.

### 5/5 — Toll

*2014-04-25, version 1.3.1*

### 1/5 — Flopp statt Top

*2013-10-24, version 1.3.0*

Ich finde da Spiel einfach nur langweilig👎👎

Hat meiner Meinung nach nur 1 oder keinen Stern verdient

### 1/5 — Für'n A.

*2013-10-23, version 1.3.0*

Stürzt ab, somit weiß ich nicht wie das App. Ist.

### 1/5 — Not worth it

*2012-02-11, version 1.2.7*

Yes I understand it's only worth a dollar, I bought this to help my son learn to play the piano. There are virtually no instructions to help you understand how to learn to play.

### 1/5 — no sound???!!!

*2012-02-01, version 1.2.7*

no sound??!! what's da point?!

### 1/5 — Super boring!!

Complete waste of money. Just treble cleft. No fun, not a complete program. Give my money back.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Fantastic app!

*2024-02-24, version 1.4.2*

This is a great little app that makes it easy to learn how to identify and play notes quickly. The Pro version (available for iPad) is even better since you can choose a keyboard with more octaves and hence practice the treble and bass clefs together.

### 5/5 — What this developer gives away is amazing!!!

*2021-02-19, version 1.4.2*

I bought this just as a thank you to Mr Chan for this amazing product. The free version is all you need, the rest is icing on the cake. Buy this just as a thank you for this awesome learning aid!

### 5/5 — Wonderful

*2017-12-23, version 1.4.1*

I’m an adult and i really enjoy using it. Fun to brush up on boring things as sight reading. Works great and great for kids too!

### 5/5 — the best sight reading app I have found

*2017-12-05, version 1.4.1*

Has the ability to select ledger lines well above treble and below bass for study. Options for all sharp and flat keys, respects uniqueness of same notes in different octaves. I've yet to find a better one.

### 5/5 — great!

*2017-09-12, version 1.4.1*

thanks

### 5/5 — Brilliant App for All Levels

*2017-01-21, version 1.4.1*

Fantastic app to learn to sight read any key on any stave. Suitable for beginners to more advanced players. I have downloaded many piano sight reading apps in the past and this is the most flexible and comprehensive by far and the sight reading tests are a great way to learn! Thoroughly recommended

### 5/5 — Excellent Music Learning App

*2016-08-09, version 1.4.0*

I have downloaded and tested pretty much all of the music learning apps for the iPad and this is is definitely the best. Works very well connected to a midi output digital piano using the E-MU Xmidi cable and the Apple Lightning to USB Camera Adapter. In this setup it works well on the iPad and looks even bigger and better on the 12.9 inch iPad Pro! (ie easier to read the notes). This app is the best way for students to learn the piano keys that correspond to the notes on the page.

### 5/5 — Really good

*2016-06-19, version 1.4.0*

A well designed, straight to the point app that does work, i.e you'll learn the notes, keys.

### 5/5 — Mr

*2015-10-18, version 1.3.4*

Hey it works! I only wish I could get 88 keys on screen. ;)

### 5/5 — Just what i was looking for

*2015-01-21, version 1.3.3*

I find this app to be easy to use, yet very flexible and helpful. I've adjusted it easily to my own needs and have already seen positive results with regard to my sight-reading speed. Why isn't this more expensive? Thank you, to the designer.
