### 3/5 — Really bummed out

*2023-01-02, version 1.1.7*

I am really really bummed out. Because I absolutly live this app (so far) and I am living the lessons they are soooo good. And I was going step by step in order doing everything right. And I got about 70% way through level one and I get to the second video in preparing the tuck learning the thumb techniques and for some reason the video doesn’t work. I’ve tried everything! Turned it on then off. Deleted the app redownloaded the app and nothing seems to be working. The videos don’t work. I even bought level two thinking I needed to make a purchase to unlock the rest of it. But that didn’t fix the problem either. I don’t know what to do. I really want to continue on this app. Otherwise. Totally amazing app. Just really bummed out. Just when I had a good thing going it messed up. And I don’t want to skip ahead to level two without completing level one. 😭😭

### 5/5 — Easily learn piano from anywhere

*2022-09-05, version 1.1.7*

I struggled with learning the concept of how people find their way around the piano so effortlessly. Until I tried these lessons. omg so simple. Such a great teacher. love it so much. it’s really simple and really fun. Excellent implementation.

### 4/5 — I need the microphone to access for the piano

*2022-07-23, version 1.1.7*

When using the microphone that can hear the keyboard or the piano when using the iPad to learn some new songs but I’m having some issues that I have the piano keyboard and an iPad Mini at the same time and this app needs some microphone to hear the noises from the piano so I could learn it easily 😞

### 4/5 — Update- is this even maintained anymore?

*2022-06-20, version 1.1.7*

Are there only two lessons available? Is there any plan to release the rest?

I can already tell I will want to buy every one of the lessons as they come out. I love that the developers are offering options for people who can’t afford it (or don’t want to), but I personally want to help support this style of learning and anyone genuine enough to offer quality lessons for such a low price. I hate that so many apps are subscription based nowadays, so it’s nice that you can buy the lessons and have them forever. When might we expect lesson 3?

**Developer response:** Hi Lizz4242!

Thank you so much for the kind words! Really means a lot to have someone recognize what we've done and makes me feel great.

Subscriptions: I hope this doesn't disapoint you, but paying for the server costs to keep the app running are already into the $100's per month even at our small size, so to keep running our plan is to eventually go to a (fairly priced) subscription model. However, we will always keep offering scholarships for those who cannot pay as this is part of our mission.

Lesson 3 got paused because we need funding to accelerate development, so we are just about to release a crowdfunding campaign, once that's out then I'll turn my attention back to making more levels, so I'm hoping for level 3 sometime this fall.

Thanks for all the kind words :D

### 5/5 — It’s Great

*2022-04-05, version 1.1.7*

I’ve been really interested in learning the piano, so this app has been helpful to say the least! It’s great at teaching you the basics, and is easy to understand. While connecting a piano may be a bit of a hassle, especially to people who don’t own a piano with Bluetooth access ‘n such, it does work and has a well response time when I play a key.

My one concern that I’ve experienced just now is the app reading that I’ve pressed a key twice, when in fact I only press it once. It’s a bit of a hassle, and I have to resort to playing on my phone to advance. I’m not sure if this is an issue on my end, or if anyone else had it, but I thought of sharing this in case it has happened to someone else.

Other than that, I’ve been enjoying this! Thanks for making this app!

### 5/5 — App review

*2022-03-17, version 1.1.7*

### 5/5 — Piano for dummy’s like me!

*2022-01-09, version 1.1.7*

Unfortunately I’ve been recently made unemployed
(crappy COVID) and wanted to do something worthwhile while I’m looking for work. I’ve been searching the web for free lesson for absolute beginners like me, sadly there doesn’t seem to be such an app, having said that, if you can afford a subscription this is DEFINITELY the app for you! He spells everything out for you so you don’t feel intimidated to start such a undertaking. So if you want to learn piano with a very good teacher I think this is the guy for you.

### 4/5 — We like the app but it crashes too much.

*2021-11-08, version 1.1.7*

We’ve had to restart the app twice. It will just freeze out of nowhere. Other than that, I really like the layout and idea behind this app. I like how the instructor teaches.

### 5/5 — Thank you developers!

*2021-09-10, version 1.1.7*

I’ve been wanting to learn piano and learn to read music and now have the time. I decided to try this app after reading the reviews. I’m older and somewhat technically challenged in general and am pleasantly surprised to find this app is fun and not intimidating. I love the pace of the lessons and the kind and pleasant voice of the teacher. I feel like I’m building a good foundation for understanding music. Thank you for all your hard work to create an experience that’s accessible and easy to follow.

### 5/5 — Stop paying for piano lessons

*2021-09-01, version 1.1.7*

This is incredible and packed with so much valuable info. It even has a little piano for your phone. however, as it is incomplete, you’ll have to get the rest of it online. No problem considering the same guy behind this app has everything you need to know for free. I have a few recommendations, add access to the mic so we can practice using real pianos, and PLEASE FINISH IT. Allow us to donate somehow if that’s what it takes. Things like this need to be free to the public to learn.
