Lots of functionalities lacking like no drum rhythms in the app, just regular metronome and the lessons don’t have notes on them. Very basic app. Also disconnects every few minutes.

Verliert ständig die Bluetooth Verbindung zum ATX 4 System! Wie soll man da gut üben können damit? Es nervt gewaltig! Nur leider ohne die App geht’s ja auch nicht im vollem Umfang!

The idea of controlling digital piano settings via an app seems great…but this auto-connects to my iPad, and then disables the MIDI communication to my Mac via USB cable! And there is not documentation of this in the app, or the manual. 

Pro tip: if your usb cable isn’t working, then just turn off Bluetooth on the digital piano!

Glad I bought a digital piano with a small screen, as this app only seems to interfere with one of the main purposes I bought the instrument for.

What makes things worse about this app is that it’s 2026, it’s been around, and nothing has been done to fix the weaknesses. Also, this app is necessary for using the ES120 because of all the key settings combinations needed to change things without it. My problem today is that I can’t get either a Blu-ray or usb connection to work with my ES102. Sometimes it works. Plus, the functionality in the app could be better.

But, the main reason I have this piano is for learning and the key action, decent piano and sound directly out of its speakers, and relatively light weight for this type of keyboard. So those things outweigh the app and connection issues.

Please fix this app and its connection problems.

### 2/5 — Why no rhythms for ES 120 users!!!

With all the app can do with my new ES 120, it’s so frustrating that the simple rhythms selection option isn’t available, unlike the competitors I checked which greatly excel in the rhythm section accompaniment aspects relatively speaking for a lower price range. Instead, we have to use an archaic chart and buttons + key combination. This has got to be a minimal software adjustment that I hope gets fixed with an update. I unfortunately had to settle for the much more expensive es120 because it had the lightest touch for my older gigging hands.

Generally works fine but problematic that it doesn’t appear to use my user settings (speaker/headphone) saved within the piano.  Have them customized for my room and dont want to manually change when using the app.

CA99/CA79/CA9900GP/NV10S/NV5S/ATX4/AR2以外の電子ピアノ/ハイブリッドピアノでは、本体のメトロノームを鳴らすことはできません。メトロノームはスマートデバイスから発音されます。また、メトロノーム、リズムの切り替えもありません。
とあります。
演奏しながら自分でリズム伴奏をオンオフするのは至難の業です…対応して欲しい。

On the older aap, my piano was a compatible model however with this new app, my model is no longer supported. Very frustrating. It does not appear to be a way to download the older version of the app. 
Are there any plans to extend the range of instrument supported? My model is the E110.

Pas de gestion des rythmes de batterie, alors il faut activer directement sur le piano mais ça déconnecte de l’application, et impossible de se reconnecter facilement… c’est frustrant.
Même pas de version française !
Dommage, c’était bien parti.

In der App kann man seine Settings definieren (Sound,…). Man verbindet die App mit dem Klavier (bei mir ES120). Alles funktioniert wunderbar aber wenn man das Klavier ausschaltet und später wieder einschaltet ist es nicht im Klavier gespeichert. Man muss alles mühsam wieder alles einrichten. Es nervt gewaltig!

I was looking for a way to play midi files on the CA-49. I did some Googling and found out about this app. It connected to my piano fine and has a big library of music. I was able to play midi files from its library. I’m in classical heaven. 5/5. Great app and UI.

Mit meinem CA99 hat sich die App sofort verbunden! Funktioniert hervorragend und unkompliziert! So Viele Einstellmöglichkeiten bietet kein andere Hersteller! Den Top Klang von Kawai erreicht eh Kein anderer! Es müssen eine Menge Analphabeten hier unterwegs sein… Kawai kommuniziert eindeutig in den Apps und den Betriebsanleitungen für welche Pianos welche Apps geeignet sind! Ich hatte bisher keine Probleme mit meinen Kawai Pianos diesbezüglich!
