### 1/5 — Doesn’t keep you logged in

*2026-02-21*

I downloaded the app to see if I could access Piazza without entering my login credentials every time. It seems that it logs you out on each open, so is no better than simply using the browser. It also seemed to have some glitches when posting replies.

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2025-10-01, version 5.0.5*

Stuck on no-wifi connection page forever. Does not work! Only browser works

### 1/5 — New user interface breaks entire app

*2025-09-30, version 5.0.5*

Login is not maintained. Scrolling doesn’t work. Can’t click on anything. Did you do 0 testing? No wonder no one trusts “educators”

### 1/5 — Terrible update

*2025-09-12, version 5.0.3*

Latest update is garbage that makes the app unusable and non-responsive.

### 1/5 — Bad update!

*2025-08-31*

After the latest update, the app stopped loading on my phone. As an educator, I use this app for my classes. You guys need to fix everything immediately because if this continues, my university would have to cancel the license. There are other alternatives out there.

### 1/5 — App is not opening

*2025-08-30, version 5.0.1*

It asked for login, after providing school sso in a browser the app is not opening

### 1/5 — Update Adds Insult to Injury

*2025-08-27*

The people involved this app's most recent update made the app so completely worthless, when I want to see Piazza on my iphone, I find it's easier just to use my iphone's web browser instead. Honestly, Piazza needs to fire the entire team of people involved in this app's most recent 2025 update, because even though the app left much to be desired before the update, afterwards, the update made the app 10,000 times worse. Worse to the point of pathetic. The update is so bad, I'm surprised the computers these coders worked on didn't simply explode in these peoples' faces bad. I'm talking about the kind of bad in which I would not be surprised if Piazza entered the news because it releases every single client's personal information to the public. Honestly, I don't even feel safe putting my personal information into this website/app anymore because I am afraid of it's getting released to the world. If I were a company, I'd make my marketing message the login credentials, because I know Piazza would do a better job at publishing the "password" and other "personal" information better than best marketing team ever could. Piazza, please fire these coders immediately, and tell them never to come back!

### 2/5 — Worst UX possible

*2025-08-21, version 5.0.1*

Title

### 1/5 — Getting Worse

*2025-08-18*

Before the last update the app was tolerable though it required logging back in every seven days.

Post update it’s unusable. Difficult to login, will not switch classes, and runs slower than a tortoise in a ring filled with maple syrup.

### 1/5 — Uses text tone notification sound

*2024-09-20, version 4.2.38.1*

Very annoying as it is not a messaging app but still uses the iPhone text tone for all notifications
