The rest annoy me and aren’t worth it. The only request I have (apart from more free puzzles - although they are very generous with 3 free pack of 25-28 puzzles in each and a weekly bonus) is for each puzzle to remember its quickest solve. I sometimes like to redo puzzles and beat my time but wished it always kept the best time. Kontrollfunktion und Tipps für Unsichere oder Ungeduldige, jede/r kann in den Einstellungen entscheiden, wie viel Hilfe nötig ist. Wenn das Rätsel gelöst ist, gibt's ein hübsches Bildchen zur Belohnung. Da die Entwicklung neuer Bilder und verbesserter Funktionen von Menschen gemacht wird, ist es nur fair, diese für ihre Arbeit auch zu bezahlen. Das Kostengemecker halte ich daher schlicht für unsozial und arrogant: Die Preise zwischen 4 und 7€ für jeweils 20 neue Aufgaben halten sich absolut im Rahmen, wenn man bedenkt, wie viele Stunden Spielspaß dran hängen: Eine Halbe in der Kneipe, eine Schachtel Zigaretten oder ein Kinobesuch sind teurer und deutlich schneller beendet! Geizhälse und Unersättliche können alte Spiele löschen und wiederholen und alle erhalten außerdem jeden Freitag ein neues kostenloses, kleines Zuckerchen. ;) Für fast jedes Niveau und Gerät gibt's unterschiedliche Bildgrößen und Schwierigkeitsgrade. Na ja, anspruchsvolle Kleinformate kann's natürlich nicht geben: Bei einem kleinen Smartphone-Display ist mittleres Niveau das höchste der Gefühle. Aber dennoch ist mir, seit ich das Spiel habe, jede Wartezeit zu kurz. Die Neuerungen nach jedem der seltenen Updates sind komfortabel, sinnvoll und auch am kleinen Display (3,5'') gut anwendbar. Da hat sich jemand mit Sachverstand viel überlegt - Chapeau! Bleibt zu hoffen, dass Pic-a-Pix noch lange auch mit einem "altmodischen" Betriebsystem zu spielen sein wird. It used to alternate every other week, one was black-and-white and the opposite week it was color and then it became two week color one week black-and-white. And then lately it’s become three week color one week black-and-white. And now we’ve gone four weeks of color with no black-and-white. Conceptis has, by far, the best version of it. My only gripe is that, for regular users, they really should offer WAY more medium plus, hard and very hard versions (color and black and white) in the 35x45 or under range. I'm not ancient, I'm 53, but I still have too much trouble seeing the gigantic ones on my iPad, my eyes start to water and it's not worth it to me. I'd bet money they'd increase their sales on new games and reduce the number of people, like me, that just keep playing puzzles we've already purchased due to lack of variety. I received your response and understand what you're saying. Thank you for telling me how to do the extra large puzzles and reason for them. Unfortunately I have to jump around the puzzle so much that using the zoom feature and the other options you mentioned just don't allow me the enjoyment I'm looking for. My point is that you should offer MORE puzzles in the range I stated previously. Surely you can create more puzzles in this range. And, for those of us who want medium plus, hard and very hard puzzles, spending money on "packs" that include easy and medium seems like a waste of money. ### 5/5 — My favourite nonagram game *2025-05-29, version 7.0* By far the best nonagram game I have installed. I am now only approaching 80 so I am probably nowhere near the oldest player. The diversity of the pictures be they black and white or coloured never cease to amaze me. Through this app they are reusable so you can always retest yourself every few months. Unfortunately, in a recent update, they positioned the “HINT button” just above the “CLOSE button” that I have to use after checking to make sure I didn’t have any errors yet. And unfortunately, probably due to muscle memory, I keep ACCIDENTALLY hitting the HINT button when all I want to do is close the dialog box after checking for errors. I REFUSE TO CONTINUE A PUZZLE AFTER RECEIVING A HINT. In all these years, I’ve never used a hint to solve a puzzle. So when I get these unwanted HINTS, I CHOOSE TO START THE PUZZLE OVER. Large difficult puzzles take time. Actually they all do. And so I’ve reluctantly decided to quit using this app. It’s been costly but fun to work through the many packs I’ve bought, but that time is over because of UNWANTED HINTS that I can’t seem to escape………..…ORIGINAL REVIEW: I love doing these puzzles. They're fun, yet encourage you to think!!! And the implementation and navigation are surprisingly workable. I wouldn't have thought it possible to create an effective way to do these puzzles without paper and pencil, but they've done it. Love 'em!!! ### 1/5 — Good BUT . . . . . *2025-02-08, version 6.9* I’m new to this app (not to Nonograms), just downloaded it today (2.8.25). I prefer large puzzles… +70 X +70 or bigger grid dimensions. This app is good once you get used to selecting & coloring cells - HOWEVER - there isn’t a way to highlight or select the ‘Clues’ area of a row and it count how many cells on the row are colored. I’ve looked through the instructions, went through the tutorial but everything seems to be directed towards new nonograms players and for smaller grids. I read through the reviews before downloading and the developers seem to genuinely care and read through reviews so I’m hoping it’s just me not being able to figure it out. Too bad Edit - it seems like it’s only the jumbo puzzles that don’t work anymore. I more then my Hubby. In the meantime here are some workarounds which can help you solve the problem: 1. If you are using an iPhone, temporarily change the internet connection from Wi-Fi to mobile data (or vice versa). Then pull down the Library screen to refresh the volume list. 2. If you are using an iPad, temporarily change the internet connection from Wi-Fi to mobile data using a hot spot from a mobile phone and making sure the mobile phone is connected to the internet using mobile data. Then pull down the Library screen to refresh the volume list. 3. App developer wants names. How can I do that when they are gone and purchased so long ago I can’t find them in my history. In response to the developer... I did try all of your solutions which didn’t work. I did not change my Apple ID - just the email associated with it. None of my other app purchases have been affected. You cannot search your receipts for purchases by name so I have not found the purchases and I have no idea how to get you the information you need other than providing the current and previous email address which you stated didn’t help you.
