## What is Pic Delete?

PIC DELETE — THE COMPLETE PHOTO & VIDEO CLEANUP TOOL

Pic Delete scans your entire photo library on-device and sorts everything worth
reviewing into clear categories, scored by real evidence — not guesswork. Here's
everything it does:

WHAT IT FINDS

- Screenshots — detected instantly and reliably
- Screen Recordings — a category most cleaners miss entirely
- Blurry Photos — scored on real sharpness, focus, exposure, and motion blur
- Accidental Shots — pocket photos and very short accidental video clips
- Documents — receipts, forms, whiteboards, scanned pages
- Product Photos — shopping and packaging shots
- Work & Technical Photos — screens, diagrams, circuits, equipment
- Duplicates & Near-Duplicates — not just exact copies, but similar shots, burst
  photos, and repeated videos too
- Old & Unused — photos you've never opened, favourited, or shared, sitting
  untouched for months
- Low Quality — genuinely poor shots based on real quality scoring
- Large Files — your biggest space-consumers, photos and videos alike, shown by
  actual size regardless of category

HOW IT SCORES EACH PHOTO

Every photo and video gets a combined score built from: sharpness, exposure, and
focus quality; how often you've actually engaged with it (favourited, edited,
shared, opened, or kept in an album); and how old and untouched it is. That
combined score is what decides how confidently something gets suggested for
deletion — not just a single signal.

VIDEOS GET THE SAME TREATMENT AS PHOTOS

Videos are often 10-50x larger than photos, so Pic Delete analyses them with the
same pipeline — quality scoring, duplicate detection, and full playback in the
preview screen before you decide anything.

THREE LAYERS OF SAFETY

1. Move to Trash — an in-app staging area, fully reversible, undo anytime
2. Delete Forever — the only action that actually removes anything, and only
when you choose it deliberately from Trash
3. iPhone's own Recently Deleted — even after that, iOS itself holds everything
   for a further 30 days
Nothing is ever one accidental tap from being gone.

PROTECTION BUILT IN

Favourited photos and anything in an album matching your own protected keywords
(e.g. "Family," "Kids," "Documents") are automatically excluded from every
suggestion — and you can review a deliberately separate, clearly-labelled screen
if you ever want to check inside a protected album for genuine junk, without
turning protection off.

SPACE-SAVING ALTERNATIVES TO DELETING

- Compress — shrink a large photo or video instead of losing it, with the
original safely moved to Trash first
- Convert Live Photo to Still — drop the hidden video portion, keep the moment
- Share at a chosen size — drag a slider to target a specific file size before
sending something too big for email or an upload limit, with a live estimate
  shown before you commit

REAL NUMBERS, NOT VAGUE SCORES

Every category shows the actual space it's using, a running total as you select
photos, and a live "you could free up X GB" summary — so you know exactly what
you're getting before you touch anything.

100% ON-DEVICE, ALWAYS

No account. No login. No cloud processing, no uploads, and no network calls of
any kind — everything runs locally using Apple's own on-device Vision framework,
even with no internet connection at all. Nothing about your photos ever leaves
your phone.

No confusing subscription traps, no ads disguised as buttons — just a clear,
thorough tool that actually does the job.
