Why is that? I updated the app in the App Store. My phone is up to the latest firmware update. Support for YouTube is currently under maintenance. Please try again later. Now when I try to describe a video that is longer than five minutes, it says that I should try a shorter video. It was not like this before the update. Yes, premium is an option. Please put it back to how it was before. You can’t ask it to describe someone’s face or Ask it to tell you what someone looks like. Also, the response generation speed is very slow; I was wondering if this is a limitation of the free version but I couldn’t figure that out since the app doesn’t have a trial period. There’s no contacting the developer or any help section whatsoever. Just a subscribe button. The generated descriptions are really good though. Some of the expressions are a little bit off, (it puts uh-uh and uh-huh in strange places sometimes), but it's as close to actually having someone here describing things to me as I'm going to get. I can't wait for longer video descriptions. It would be great to be able to sync the description to the video a little better, But they are extremely helpful. Also, if I saved a photo from a Facebook post, had it described, would there be a way to share that particular audio description with the photo back to Facebook on my post? Would love to show people how this works. Blessed be! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Problem *2026-07-15* App is not working. ### 1/5 — No longer automatically copies links from my clipboard or anything else for that matter. *2026-06-04* The app no longer automatically pastes or even asks me if I want to paste a URL, though it's set to just open the URL upon launch in my settings. The only options that I have are photos, video, record, and PDF, and in settings, though I uninstalled and reinstalled to try to fix this problem, doesn't give me the option to make it the full version again, though I paid for the lifetime license. You can't even click on the button to review the app. It used to be a great app, now it's a great failure. ### 1/5 — Used to be great but completely unresponsive for 2+ weeks!! *2026-05-23* I’m a totally blind blogger and this functionality is crucial for my work! “Unable to process your video.” That’s exactly what the app says for 2 weeks no matter whether I load a PDF or any YouTube video, or a video/photo from the photo roll. The grossest part here is that I emailed the support team over a week ago and they haven’t even bothered to respond! Guess it’s just 2026 and most people just don’t take any responsibilities, even when it comes to some commercial products! I was considering buying a premium version, thank god I haven’t wasted my money. Using an iPhone 13 with IOS26.5. It’s voiceover accessible, and I enjoy using it. I have used it so far for describing images that people send me through WhatsApp and or messages, as well as describing the scenes of different videos that have been posted to various YouTube channels. the only things that I have noticed is the waiting sound toggle option is gone in the setting screen, and the unlabeled help button inside the setting screen itself. I watched some YouTube videos about PiccyBot and I tested it in its free and paid versions. Paying for the full access is worth it, in my opinion. I prefer this app over Seeing AI. There are limitations in how much the AI can describe, which is to be expected. Re-analyzing the same video content will give varying degrees of quality in descriptions. I I am hoping there is a way to train the AI model or give feedback to descriptions and generated responses. That is a great interest of mine. For users who pay for the full version, the app is quite customizable. The controls you have in Settings are worth experimenting with. Manchmal geht das irgendwie alles hier auch dan *2025-03-15, version 2.15* möchte auch TikTok Links in diese App eingeben können beziehungsweise rein kopieren können. Die sind ja immer so lang oder TikTok Video an diese App übertragen, um sie beschreiben zu lassen. Das geht aber irgendwie nicht und manchmal funktionieren auch YouTube Videos dann irgendwie nicht das hab ich aber per Mail an die Entwickler schon weitergegeben und es wär ganz nett wenn das mal geprüft und ergänzt werden könnte. Ansonsten liebe ich diese App weil sie mir ermöglicht Dinge wahrzunehmen, die früher nie begriffen hätte als nichts sehen. ### 5/5 — Wow! *2025-02-21* I was truly convinced this couldn't have been AI it was so good! I literally never buy subscriptions but I may well make an exception for this one! I do have a question however, can I hear the video along side the description? That would be very helpful!
