## What is Pickle Me Happy?

Pickle Me Happy is a pickleball scoring, session, forecast, and fitness tracker built for iPhone and Apple Watch.

Keep your head in the rally. Start a session on Apple Watch, tap individual scores to add points, long press to correct mistakes, or speak a quick score phrase before the next serve. Your iPhone keeps the full record so you can review every game, session, and trend later.

Built-in Forecast helps you know before you play. Add upcoming pickleball days, recurring sessions, ladders, open play, or tournaments, and Pickle Me Happy matches them with court weather so you can quickly see whether conditions look Ideal, Good, or worth watching.

Pickle Me Happy also brings Apple Health workout data into your pickleball recap. See active calories, workout time, steps, average heart rate, max heart rate, Effort score, heart-rate intensity bands, and time spent at higher heart-rate levels alongside the games you played.

Built for real play:
- Score from Apple Watch with tap, press, or voice input
- Track games, wins, losses, points for, and points against
- Start and end pickleball workout sessions from the Watch app
- Review Today, History, and Insights on iPhone
- See Apple Health workout stats alongside your match history
- View Effort score, heart-rate intensity, and session fitness stats
- Check a 10-day court forecast with high/low temps and playable verdicts
- Mark scheduled play days so weather lines up with when you actually play
- See upcoming play with time, location, rain risk, temperature, and court-ready status
- Add or edit games manually when you forgot to track a session
- View monthly, year-to-date, and court forecast widgets
- Track win rate, streaks, session time, court miles, heart rate, calories, steps, and more

Voice scoring works best when your iPhone is nearby. Pickle Me Happy Pro unlocks cellular/cloud voice scoring, unlimited history, full insights, and advanced fitness history.

Pickle Me Happy is designed for casual play, ladder games, club nights, tournaments, and anyone who wants a clean record of how they played without carrying a phone on court.

Health and location permissions are optional and only used to power the workout, history, insight, forecast, and widget features you enable.

WHAT'S NEW

Track who you play. Add up to two opponents to any game, right alongside your partner. A new Rivals card in Insights shows your record against everyone you face. Bragging rights, documented.

Game notes. "Windy day." "New paddle." "Finally beat the 4.5 guy." Add a quick note to any game and your history starts reading like a journal.

Smart notifications. Optional alerts keep your play streak alive, recap your week every Sunday evening, and remind you the night before a scheduled play day, court forecast included. All on your device, all off by default until you say yes.

Your record, on your wrist. The Apple Watch complication now shows today's wins and losses right on your watch face, updating as you finish games.

Export your games (Pro). Download your full history as a spreadsheet: dates, scores, partners, opponents, durations, and notes. Your data belongs to you.

A sharper Forecast. Scheduled play days now shine with gold time chips, Ideal days wear the spotlight they deserve, and the colors got a full polish across the app and your home screen widgets.

Plus: better layouts for long player names, clearer pace stats in Insights, and other small fixes.

### 1.0.6 — 2026-07-21

Weather & Forecast
• Weather widget now uses your location from the iPhone app
• "Use My Location" now shows your actual city (e.g., La Mesa) instead of the broader metro area
• Removed the blue "Today" highlight on the 5-day widget — green border only appears when pickleball is actually scheduled
• Event times now display in compact format (8:30a, 2p) in the hero card and forecast list
• Past events (2+ hours after start time) no longer show as upcoming or drive the forecast hero card

Apple Watch
• When the 20-minute auto-pause fires, you'll now see a "Wrap up?" prompt — choose End Session or Keep Playing

Insights & History
• Added partner results breakdown in Insights
• Improved Today view game rows showing partners
• Polished session history cards and calendar date display
• Fixed win rate stat row layout and insights hero metric wrapping
• Fixed YTD widget HealthKit query to prevent crashes on large datasets

### 1.0.2 — 2026-07-01

New Forecast tab and court weather widgets.
Add scheduled pickleball days, recurring sessions, ladders, or open play, then see whether the weather looks Ideal, Good, Watch, or Skip before you head to the court.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-06-10

No release notes.
