## What is PicklePlayces?

PicklePlayces is an easy way to see how many people are playing down at your favorite pickleball court. You no longer need to take a drive down just to see if there are enough people to play. The PicklePlayces app can automatically add you to the number of players when you show up to a court, and take you back out when you leave. If you need more players you can also send out a notification to everyone that plays at a court to let them know more players are needed. Use PicklePlayces to get games started and keep them going.


## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.3 — 2025-09-02

This release brings feature parity to iOS with the Android version. You now have the option to let PicklePlayces automatically check you in and out of the courts you play at, without ever opening the app. This feature is based on the geofencing features of iOS and the app does NOT constantly monitor your location. It is turned off by default, but can be toggled on and off in the app Settings page. This makes it super easy to keep track of how many players are at a court, as well as when your PicklePlayces group friends show up to play at one of your courts.

### 1.2 — 2025-07-07

The new version of PicklePlayces introduces Groups! You can create unlimited groups and invite your friends to join. Once your groups are set up, you’ll be able to see when anyone from any of your groups checks in to play at your usual courts. Whether you have a regular practice group or want to catch up with friends for a game, PicklePlayces Groups makes it easy to connect and join the fun.


This release contains bug fixes for automatic check in and check out as well as some user interface modifications.
