## What is PicklePo?

Some rallies are hard to win. Remembering the score should not be.

PicklePo is a focused pickleball scorekeeper for iPhone and Apple Watch. Hand the phone to a referee or courtside scorer, or keep score yourself from your wrist while you play. Most scoring actions take a single tap, so your attention stays on the next rally instead of a menu.

Key features:

• Supports singles and doubles
• Clearly shows the score, serving side, and doubles player order
• Tap the winning side to record each rally
• Long-press to undo the previous action
• Use the iPhone in portrait or landscape for courtside scoring
• Score directly on Apple Watch and keep it in sync with iPhone
• With your permission, save Watch matches as pickleball workouts in Apple Health
• Supports light and dark appearances plus multiple interface languages

Optional PicklePo Pro unlocks additional match and personalization settings, including alternative target scores, match series, scoring rules, player names, themes, and match history. Some features require an in-app purchase.

No more asking, “Who is serving?” At least not because anyone forgot.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.1.3 — 2026-11-01

The iPhone Duo has arrived, so PicklePo has unfolded a few new tricks too.

This update adapts the scoreboard for the inner screen, outer screen, portrait and landscape. The phone can handle the folding. We’ll keep the score straight.

### 1.1.2 — 2026-09-27

After using the app in a few actual matches, I discovered that the original controls involved rather more thumb travel than strictly necessary. When the serving side lost a rally, you had to tap the other side of the screen. An excellent system, provided your thumb enjoys unnecessary journeys.

You can now double-tap the serving side instead: first server moves to second; second server results in a side out.

The old method is still available, for traditionalists and anyone whose thumb has already memorised the scenic route.

### 1.1.1 — 2026-09-10

Turns out the developer got a little carried away watching pro pickleball and slipped a few famous player names into the previous App Store screenshots. No collaboration, no endorsement—and they probably have no idea who I am. They’ve now been replaced with fictional players. The app hasn’t changed; only the developer’s survival instincts have improved.

### 1.1 — 2026-09-06

Improved layouts across iPhone and Apple Watch screen sizes, made doubles player-position indicators easier to read, and refined interface and sync behavior.

### 1.0 — 2026-08-17

No release notes.
