### 1/5 — Misleading Pricing and Poor Support Experience

Dear Picktime Team,

Thank you for finally responding.

I want to be very clear about why I will not be moving forward with Picktime.

First, your pricing and marketing need to be much more transparent. If a customer cannot actually purchase the Starter plan for one user at the advertised per-user price, then advertising it that way creates the wrong impression.

If the minimum charge is for three users, state the real minimum monthly and annual cost clearly upfront. Do not attract customers with a low “per user” figure and only later explain that they are required to pay for three users.

A solo business owner should not have to pay for three users when they only need one.

There are thousands of independent business owners, including salon owners, barbers, pest-control operators, cleaners, consultants, therapists, and other service providers, who work completely on their own. Why should someone with one user pay for two additional users they will never use?

If your product is designed only for businesses with three or more staff members, say that clearly. Otherwise, create a genuine single-user plan with pricing that reflects one user.

Also, the response time to a simple pre-sales question has been extremely disappointing. If this is the level of support before I have even paid for the service, it raises a serious question: what level of support should I expect after becoming a paying customer?

The recurring appointment feature does what I need, but the pricing structure, lack of a proper solo-user option, and slow support make the overall service unsuitable for my business.

This has unfortunately been a waste of my time and resources.

My suggestion is simple: improve the transparency of your marketing, clearly advertise the actual minimum price customers will pay, and seriously consider building a proper plan for independent single-user businesses.

A good product is not just about features. Pricing, transparency, customer support, and understanding your target market matter just as much.

I like the way the app looks but the fact that clients can’t book more than once in a day is what’s throwing me off. I most do drop in visits for clients and most of my clients like more than once a day visits

I use this app for my students to book themselves in for phone appointments.  So far it's working well.  It would be great if it integrated with my iCal 
Perhaps that is something this company could do in an update?

I pay to use this I am not on the free version as I wanted the calendar synching. I have been having issues this year with picktime not recognizing when I have blocked days off. It still allows clients to book and then I have to cancel them. The “fix” they keep telling me is to use an option that isn’t included in Apple’s Calendar option. I have the most recent software. When I tell them this they say tell Apple. What a cop out. Apparently they have no plans to fix this.

Cool idea, poorly implemented on the mobile end. Things just don’t flow. No auto cap of the first letter of names, exiting out of transactions takes multiple clicks not in areas you think to click, navigation isn’t very pleasant, can’t customize the 3 days you look at. I work thurs -sat and I can only view wed-fri or sat-mon. I work on an iPad and it forces me into a screen that is for phones. Would love an auto check out option since I don’t pass money through this… it’s for tracking and appointments.
