## What is PickTube?

PickTube – Parent-Approved Videos

PickTube is a simple, controlled solution that allows children to watch videos with peace of mind.
Instead of relying on recommendations or algorithms, PickTube enables parents to decide exactly which videos their children can watch. Parents add YouTube video links, and children can only view the videos that have been approved for them.

There is no search, no free browsing, and no autoplay. PickTube encourages intentional viewing and helps families avoid unwanted recommendations and distractions.

How PickTube works:

Many video platforms rely on automated recommendations that may suggest content parents did not intend to show their children. PickTube removes all automatic discovery and gives control back to parents by limiting viewing to pre-selected, trusted videos.

Important note regarding video playback
Video playback is powered through YouTube’s embedded player. Depending on the settings defined by the video creator, YouTube may occasionally display other videos from the same channel. PickTube does not allow search, browsing, or algorithm-based recommendations beyond the content approved by parents.

PickTube is designed for families who want to offer their children a calmer, safer, and more intentional video experience—without relying on algorithms.
