The Highlights • Ground Execution: Once we arrived in Mauritius, everything was incredibly smooth. The ground team did a splendid job, and I want to thank them for ensuring we had a pleasant and hassle-free experience during our stay. • Itinerary Planning: I want to give a shout-out to Dev for the initial curation of the trip. He was very helpful in setting up the itinerary and was the only one who consistently stepped up to answer my queries throughout the process. The Disappointments • Broken Promises: During our initial talks, Dev promised that certain inclusions would be part of our hotel stay. However, upon arrival, the hotel informed us these were not included in the package. • Lack of Support: When this issue arose, I tried reaching out to Dev for clarification, but received no response. This is quite disappointing; when you are traveling, you expect a reliable line of support from your agency if something goes wrong. • Poor Assigned Management: My assigned trip agent, Priyamvata, was unfortunately unresponsive. She did not return calls or texts regarding my queries. If Dev hadn’t stepped in to help, I would have been completely in the dark. Final Thoughts I truly appreciate the quality of the trip itself, but the communication from the office team needs a major overhaul. I urge the PYT team to ensure that assigned agents actually respond to customer pings. Reliability is just as important as the destination. ### 1/5 — India to Bali Trip *2025-06-08, version 3.3.6* Our trip was planned very nicely but somehow the things happened in Bali was entirely different. Travel guides was very bad and no knowledge of the places. They were not explaining anything to us regarding the places. Vehicle arrangements for 2 days was good but for other 2days it was horrible. One day the trip started evening and from morning the time was wasted. Overall the agent in Bali was fully careless and they are not willing to help us. Hence there is lot to improve for agents in India and Bali. Hence we are not recommending anymore this travel partner. ### 1/5 — Thailand: Krabi & Phuket *2025-05-06* 1. Overlapping Activities & Poor Communication: I had specifically asked for a detailed day-wise itinerary outlining activity times, pickup/drop details, and coordination. However, the itinerary shared lacked clarity, and two activities were scheduled on the same day, causing complete chaos. To make things worse, neither the main travel company nor their on-ground partner responded to my calls or WhatsApp messages when I needed urgent assistance. 2. Lack of Communication on Hotel Checkout: After returning from one of the activities, I reached the hotel at 2:30 PM only to find that the actual checkout time was 12:30 PM. This information was never mentioned in the itinerary or communicated to me, which led to an unnecessary extra charge of 1,500 Baht. If I had known in advance, I could’ve easily planned my luggage accordingly. 3. Boat Left Without Us: During a four-island tour, we were only 10–12 minutes late returning to the boat, but it departed without us. This was extremely distressing, especially being in a foreign country. We were forced to hire a private boat, costing an additional 1,500 Baht, just to get back safely. 4. Overall Experience: While the destination itself was beautiful, the execution by the travel company and their ground partner was disappointing. Lack of coordination, poor communication, and zero on-ground support significantly impacted our honeymoon experience. I sincerely hope they take such feedback seriously and improve their planning and responsiveness going forward. ### 3/5 — Bali trip March 2025 *2025-03-31, version 3.2.5* The enthusiasm shared by the team before we finalised and made payment was extraordinary, post which it died down. Though we negotiated for the cost, the team structured the itinerary as per their plan and not as per our recommendation. Overall it was an average of experience. The driver was good. The hotels were away from the centre. The places of attraction were different from what we had placed in our initial discussion. We had to pay for an attraction that we had requested and was not included. ### 1/5 — Australia trip in March *2025-03-29* Let me start from the beginning. Once you book the package, their sales team becomes completely unresponsive. Before booking, they will message you every hour on WhatsApp, but once the payment is made, they won’t even bother to reply to your queries. When it comes to the visa process, their team acts as if they are doing you a favor rather than providing a service. Their responses are far from professional. As for the hotel selection—or rather, their recommendations—they will book low-quality four-star hotels, even if you request top-tier options. In one case, they assigned us a hotel where the swimming pool and bar were under renovation, likely due to commission incentives. The second hotel was even worse. Regarding trip assistance, the help they provide is nothing more than what you can easily find online. Finally, their app experience is one of the worst I’ve ever encountered. It frequently logs you out during the trip, and getting back in takes at least 15 minutes and multiple attempts—just when you need help the most. If there was an option to attach screenshots, I would have done that too. ### 1/5 — Worst app ever *2025-02-20* If you want hassle free trip, refrain using their services, had to face huge losses due to their mistakes and app glitches, the itenary finalised and itenary on app was different and despite raising it multiple times they kept on mentioning it is just app glitch and their tech team is unable to solve right now, but this is their way of making you a fool and then charging you more for rescheduling things, their team will stop picking your phone and they will say this is what was discussed. They charge you 5-10% more than market for providing best experience, but there was not a single week in past 3 months where I have to try reaching out the team which do not respond and raising tickets which they keep on marking as resolved and then try explaining the same issue to multiple different poc. Their assurances are meaningless. Even upon requesting the rooms of larger size and good hotels with no budget restrictions I was provided with budget hotels, where you don’t even get water in your rooms. If anyone wants to relax on their trip, pick your trail is not at all the platform for you. ### 2/5 — Tech issue *2025-01-21, version 3.1.20* I have purchased a package and discussed itinerary completely. Even though they have missed to add activity and switched the date . After multiple attempts to get it corrected it not corrected yet and it is tough to connect with them. The only message i am receiving is payment due nothing else . Tried connecting support in app and web but there is always a customer issue. You guys need to work on tech as well as post sales support as well. ### 5/5 — Unforgettable and enthralling Dubai trip curated by pick your trail *2025-01-12, version 3.1.20* Our Dubai trip in 2024 April was curated by pick your trail . A seamless and wonderful journey where my family of four had an enthralling 4 day stay …. We covered almost all the important places. Pick your trail ensured it was within the budget given to them . Had constant 24/7 support from them during travel which put us at ease. ### 5/5 — Amazing *2024-12-25, version 3.1.17* It is awesome experience building itenary ### 1/5 — Scammers & Fraudulents *2024-12-09* These people are just bothered to take booking. After making payment, they least bother to sort any concern of yours. They took booking for our anniversary vacation for Dubai & took payment as well. The visa related services & fee were also included in that. They book flights as well & took payment. After confirmed booking & payments they were not able to get visa. Then we asked to reschedule our anniversary vacation to some other date. Upon agreeing for reschedule we were asked to pay flight cancellation of nearly ₹40K. Their employee Muskan planned our vacation and she made numerous calls before taking booking even she arranged call with her manager Sumit & another employee Bharat. Sumit & Bharat were in continuous touch with us till the payments were made & assured us to be in touch at any point of time after booking as well. But as soon as our vacation canceled, Sumit & Bharat has stopped picking up our calls, like once I called both of them continuously for 20+ times but no once had picked up & not even bothered to call us back. These guys are just scammers & have no work ethics. The post-sales experience has been an absolute nightmare marked by a complete lack of accountability, communication, and professionalism. * Refusal of Direct Communication: My assigned post-sales POC, Infana, called to inform me that incoming calls would be disabled on her phone and outright refused to support queries via WhatsApp or email. * Unresponsive Support: She directed me to use the PYT app’s AI support bot, claiming a team member would always respond even if she were away. This turned out to be completely false—despite multiple attempts, I have received zero responses on the app. * Delayed Visa Assistance: The visa team was promised to reach out within 48 hours of payment. It has now been over 4 days with zero contact, yet payment reminders continue to arrive promptly. * Ignored Flight Changes: My flights were rescheduled, which significantly alters my entire tour itinerary. The team has made zero effort to acknowledge or resolve this. With a strict "no refund for land arrangements" policy in place, this complete negligence is deeply alarming. If they are this completely unresponsive before the trip even begins, I am deeply worried about how they will handle emergencies or support me on-ground during the actual tour. Think twice before booking if you expect reliable customer service. ### 1/5 — Agent will not respond after trip booking *2026-06-04* Account owner is not all responding. We booked a trip to thailand. While booking we clearly mentioned about considering one year baby, but now they are not at all responding. Till we do payment they will make daily 10 follow-ups, once after you do payment it will be dead difficult to get connected with them. They will give direct contact we need to connect through app only. But it will never be connected to account owner. After planning itenary they were saying baby is not allowed to some places and are not even confirming any change in itenary as well. The trip booking person is different and trip guiding person. The maintenance is too worst. Never book a trip with this company. It is better to book with others instead of this one. ### 1/5 — Worst Travel Experience Ever - Extremely Poor Planning and Management *2026-03-16* I had booked my honeymoon to Thailand with them, and honestly, they completely ruined the entire trip. 1. They grouped us with other tourists who were visiting different locations than ours. Because of this, we had to wait inside a cab in 30-degree heat without AC while the driver had no idea what was going on. The team kept saying they were “looking into it,” but nothing was resolved. The management and coordination were extremely poor. 2. At most tourist spots they give you only one hour. Out of that, it takes about 20 minutes just to walk to the actual location and another 20 minutes to walk back, leaving barely any time to enjoy the place. 3. Pickups are scheduled at 8 AM, which means you have to wake up around 6 AM to get ready and have breakfast. If you are even a minute late, they keep calling repeatedly. But when they are late, there is no communication or response. 4. Many places required extra entrance fees, which were never clearly mentioned beforehand. 5. This was my first international trip, and they booked my flight tickets without check-in baggage. I only found out at Phuket airport on the last day of my holiday and had to pay a large extra amount for luggage. I didn’t even have enough cash left and had to use my card. 6. While asking for payments, they will call you 10 times a day and constantly pressure you to transfer money. They barely give you time to properly review the itinerary. The hotels they suggested were also very disappointing. 7. After all these issues, they stop responding. Calls go unanswered and messages are ignored. Overall, the whole experience felt like a scam. They completely ruined what was supposed to be a special honeymoon trip. I was warned about them by friends but still went ahead with the booking — a mistake I regret. Avoid them and plan your trip yourself instead of dealing with such poor management and greed. ### 1/5 — Worst Travel Agency. No proper planning is provided-They will completely misguide you *2026-02-13, version 3.7.2* From planning all their focus is only on making sale not even 1% regarding customer service and comfort is taken care of. EVEN CEO ESCALATION HERE FEELS USELESS. They simply say something and don’t respond to your concerns. On a simple note they don’t even know how to give your contact details to the activity providers while booking which will put you in difficult situation when coordinating any changes made and even they can’t help you in such situations. They just do booking and leave the headaches to us only. ### 1/5 — Bali Package *2025-12-27, version 3.6.8* I have booked Bali trip on Pickyourtrail for 5N6D package. It will be waste of money for me to spend with Pickyourtrail. My package was not planned good and very poor customer service. In this package 2 hotel was included. I’m arriving Bali on evening 7pm at that time booked hotel was around 40-50kms from Airport. Return flight was around 9pm and another hotel was just 4-5kms and checkout time was 11am. I have requested them to swap the hotel due to this and also in my final shared itinerary in application not showing my candle light dinner and floating breakfast which I’m paying additionally for this. For the above requests self asked tour co-ordinator to change as per my request. No one has come with any response and someone is following for their remaining payment. Very worst customer service, while initiating trip also this level customer service how these guys will give service over the trip. You can easily manage your money within in very low amount. ### 1/5 — Recent trip experience *2025-07-30, version 3.4.8* A big disappointment and mismanagement by the team during me and my family’s recent Greece trip. Some activities didn’t happen according to plan. Wrong flights were booked and high level of miscommunication and unprofessionalism was observed. Most of the time of the trip me and my family were figuring out logistics and pickyourtrail provided 0 support and we spent most of out quality family time fighting with the pickyourtrail team on logistics. ### 1/5 — Pathetic service *2025-07-14* We had worst experience with pick your trail during our trip to vietnam 1. Our connecting flight got delayed for three times in vietnam and we were stranded at airport for more than 10hrs along with our 4yr old kid. We tried calling our trip executive Soundarya many times to ask her if she can change our airlines but not even once she picked the call. 2. As soon as we reached the destination one of our activity got cancelled due to bad weather. Everyone who booked tickets directly for the activity got their refund then and there but we never got refund even after asking for the same several times. 3. On one day during our trip our kid got sick and we have requested the local vendor asking to delay our activity next day for 1,2 hrs but they did not agree. We tried contacting pick your trail agents in India but none of them picked our call, including Soundarya. These people they were continuously calling us and they were after us untill we did the booking and made payment and they stopped picking our calls as soon as our trip started. Pathetic service. Not at all recommend. ### 1/5 — Scammers and Fraud agency *2025-07-11* We had one of the worst travel experiences ever, all thanks to Pickyourtrail. Right from the beginning, the planning was misleading. Almost every location we were promised turned out to be a less popular or completely different version. Instead of taking us to the well-known attractions of Bali, we were dragged to remote, underwhelming spots that barely matched the itinerary. The schedule was horribly packed—nonstop travel between places with barely any time to relax or enjoy. It felt more like a race than a vacation. We spent half the trip inside a vehicle instead of experiencing the beauty of Bali. To make things worse, they didn’t even coordinate with the hotels properly. We had complimentary activities included—like free access to Bali Zoo—but we couldn’t utilize a single one of them. Why? Because no one from Pickyourtrail bothered to check with the hotels or inform us in advance. What’s the point of including those perks if you don’t ensure they’re usable? On top of that, our e-visa was raised just one day before the trip, even though we were clearly told during the initial discussions that everything, including the visa, would be handled well in advance. The last-minute visa process added unnecessary stress and made us question their professionalism. This was not just bad planning, it was borderline scammy. The whole experience felt like a money grab with zero accountability. Absolutely no personalized care, no flexibility, no proper guidance—just a template itinerary dumped on us without understanding our preferences or comfort. We would’ve had a much better trip had we booked everything ourselves. At least then, we wouldn't be left feeling cheated. Never again with Pickyourtrail—and we’ll make sure to warn everyone we know. ### 1/5 — Very bad & poor service *2025-07-10* I have used this agency for travel to Vietnam . There are so many basic things were missing & when I tried to approach them very poor service like no solution & no response . The basic thing when you travel international flight hours like 6 to 7 hours flight should be booked with meal but they have not booked any meal in flight & informed me at the time of booking they have booked meal. For saving some chillar they did this . When you face any issue like hotel or taxi they are not going to solve or they will ask to chat only no call . On chat they will write give us some time but time will never come . I have faced lot off issues like hotel quality & taxi issue they never get back to me for the same when I approach them . They are very much costly compare to other in market but very poor in service compare to others in market . The accommodation was all excellent and the itinerary worked really well. Our visit to Bali, Ubud & Kuta provided an interesting insight in to the city and its history. Our Tour guide and driver (Mudana) Bali went the extra mile to help us and arranged nice comfortable car, also given us some relevant location and heritage details which was enlightening and hugely appreciated. Experience Travel also found a grave that the family had been seeking, my family are delighted.
