## What is PiClimb?

How far can you climb?

PiClimb turns learning the digits of π into a calm, steady climb – and a fast, fun game when you want a challenge.

LEARN
• See a chunk of digits, start typing and it disappears – then type it from memory.
• Every third chunk you review the whole stretch without help.
• Choose chunks of 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 or 10 digits.

PRACTICE
• Adaptive practice finds your weak spots and trains them in context.
• Continue where you are, choose a custom range or practice a random stretch you already know.
• Mistakes show instantly, and you type the right digit before moving on.

RECALL
• A pure memory test from the first decimal. The first mistake ends the run.
• See exactly where it went wrong and practice that area with one tap.

PI PANIC
• Type π as fast as you can before the time bar runs out.
• New Game Center leaderboards every day and every week.

TRACK YOUR CLIMB
• Personal bests, streaks, a daily goal and a confidence map for every 10 digits.
• 20 achievements, from your first chunk to the Feynman Point at digit 762.

APPLE WATCH
• Quick Recall, Panic Mini and your progress on your wrist.

Works offline. No account needed. Your progress stays on your devices. Includes 100,000 verified decimals of π.

PiClimb is free with a few unobtrusive ads that never appear while you train. A one-time purchase removes them.

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.1.1 — 2026-10-23

Small improvements under the hood that help us see where PiClimb can get better. Nothing changes in how you train.

### 1.1 — 2026-10-21

• A gentler start: ads and the privacy question now wait until you've finished a few sessions.
• Smaller daily goals, from 5 digits (10 to start with), so a busy day still counts.
• Today's π now comes from the first 1,000 decimals, the stretch you're climbing, and shows where it starts compared with your record.

### 1.0 — 2026-10-16

No release notes.
