My favorite. My queen. For YEARS. But you have not been able to pull in a transparent PNG image without issue in quite some time, and I may have to move on from you unless you get it together. 💔 ### 3/5 — I Prefer the Lite Version *2024-04-04* After years of having the lite version, I finally bought the full version when I decided I wanted the convenience of being able to use as many layers as I want. As soon as I began playing with the full version, I noticed that as soon as I enter a photo into the app, the quality becomes way worse. I didn’t even have that issue with the lite version. I am very frustrated by this because I paid money and my photos are turning out worse than when I had a free app. I also feel like the color sensitivity feature could be a little better for an app that is paid for. It helps, but I usually have to manually make many fixes. ### 2/5 — The free version is much better. As of this writing, its last update was two months ago, and it desperately needs to be updated again to coincide with the latest iOS. Since the new operating system, it is buggy to the point where practically every single time you attempt to load a saved layer on to your work the entire app crashes, knocking you back out on to your home screen, and all you can do is keep retrying and hoping that this time it will cooperate and actually let you do it. It got so bad that yesterday the whole app crashed so badly that it wiped out everything I had had saved on the app - over five years' worth of work! This happened not once, but twice - after being forced to wipe my iPhone back to factory settings and restoring from a backup, it did it a second time, forcing me to do the same process all over again. Fortunately, wiping my iPhone back to factory settings and restoring from a previous emergency backup on my iCloud restored everything both times, but the point is, I shouldn't even had have to take such drastic steps in the first place. Please update this app so that it works properly with the new iOS asap! UPDATE: it happened again. I'll now have to restore my iPhone back to factory settings and restore my entire iPhone from backup a third time. It's official, the app is now useless until an update fixes it. Is it hogging resources? Annoying blue border around each layer. It means you can no longer screenshot images for better resolution. A totally pointless addition. **Developer response:** Blue border has been reverted in the latest update, it was only for the selected layer (to indicate which one is being edited), so selecting the background would have kept it out of the way. But if you find that screenshots are higher quality than exporting the result, it's probably because the background layer is very low resolution. You could start with a higher resolution empty background layer and add everything as a foreground layer, so you can export in high resolution and don't need to take screenshots. ### 1/5 — Paid version doesn’t work? *2020-07-25* I like the lite version of this app so thought it was worth paying for the full version. App freezes, can’t move layers, can’t save finished photos. I’ve never had any issues with it thru iPad OS 26. But, alas, its days may be numbered as it does not work with 27 Beta. Fingers crossed that it will with the final 27 build, but since the developer hasn’t pushed an update in 5 years (understandable, it’s a small app and long in the tooth), I’ll have to rely on luck. ### 5/5 — App crashes *2026-06-24* The app is constantly crashing when you try to add layers. And a quick option to add transparency to the layers so you can see what’s behind, place it when it’s ready and remove the transparency. Great app. I was able to take some old family photos, merge them together to make it look like they were made at the same time. I would like to be able to change the final effect: black and white or a sepia tone.
