But the app hasn’t been updated in years and it’s tough to use / navigate on the new iPhone given that key buttons are outside the field of control. Please update! ### 3/5 — Excellent but would like a few tweaks *2022-03-27, version 3.0.26* Love this app and love the fact you overlay a previous photo to line up the next days, slightly buggy on my iPhone 11 Pro Max and has crashed a few times. One change I would like is the ability to add the photo time date stamp in the slideshow. It shows it on the preview but not in the slideshow :( ### 2/5 — Share video is broken. *2021-06-10, version 3.0.26* I have been using this app for almost a year now. I’ve tried sharing the video file by texting it to my wife, airdropping to my wife, and emailing to myself. None of the options have worked. The email file I receive is called “out.mp4” and it has a proper time length but the video won’t play and it’s just a black screen. Text messaging always fails when I try to send to the wife. When air dropping it to her it says “save in iCloud” but when trying to open it, it just shows black screen saying “out M-PEG-4 movie 10.8MB”. Please help I would like to rate this app higher but as of now it’s not very useful it I can store the actual video on something other than the app. ### 2/5 — Stop spamming to write a review *2020-12-01, version 3.0.26* Maybe I want to use the app... ### 3/5 — Keeps crashing *2020-10-01, version 3.0.23* Used to love this, but now it crashes every time I try and load the app. I’ve now got no way of accessing any of those photos. Seems a shame I’ve lost years of photos as it would’ve been a very cool video by the end. ### 4/5 — Good app, but... *2020-09-14, version 3.0.23* Solid app, and I paid to upgrade, but the app still asks me to upgrade every time I use it. Despite having already paid. ### 3/5 — Another free feature now a paid one *2020-07-15, version 3.0.23* I’ve used this app for 5 years and it’s always been a solid free app but recently it seems now that you can no longer import photos from the Camera Roll for free, you have to purchase the PRO upgrade. The easy workaround is to just use the in-app camera but I just don’t see the real point of charging for that. Performance-wise, it does get quite slow when scrolling to the oldest pictures. It looks like it takes a long time to build a thumbnail for each photo then when I tap one, it does takes either quite some time to show or causes the app to crash. This does worries me because I’d sometimes think the pictures have been corrupted and I’ve lost my progress pictures For a future version, photos that are saved from Picr should have the date that it was taken or at least the date entry within the album. Currently if you save a photo to your camera roll, it shows the current date/time. ### 3/5 — PicR Team... complaint *2020-01-22* Hello team. I was hoping that somebody could help me resolve a problem I’m experiencing. When trying to convert my pictures into a slideshow, I only get about half of them in the slideshow, and then those half repeat, instead of showing all my pictures in one slideshow. So before I uninstall it, here is my review. ### 4/5 — Help *2019-10-09* I love this app and I’ve been using it for years but it always glitches and I can never see my old photos and it shuts my phone down! It looks glitchy when scrolling too. **Developer response:** Hi, many thanks for your feedback! We are currently working on some performance optimizations in this specific area. Sorry for that. So currently we can provide you with a workaround. Just go to the settings menu of Picr and open the performance optimization tool. After this process the app should be much faster. If you have still issues please drop us a mail at support@picr.info - Your Picr Team - ### 3/5 — Privacy needs improvement *2019-08-17, version 3.0.12* It's good and all to have touch ID to access the projects, but the app doesn't have a generic preview when switching apps - so anyone can see your pictures in the app preview. It just needs a generic screen if privacy settings are enabled to prevent this, which many mobile apps have done. ### 3/5 — Pretty Good, Can Be Better *2019-07-19, version 3.0.12* I really like this app but I have some issues with it. First it’s not as easy to import photos because you have to swipe up and for me, it sometimes exits me from the app so it’s inconvenient. It the button was right there, it would be more user-friendly. Second, I find the time stamp annoying to look at, especially when I edit photos and the time is wrong so my photos don’t upload in chronological order. And when I do change the time, it changes all the previous times of other pictures from the same date so I have to go back to the other photos and change those times again. I downloaded this app to keep a photo journal of my daily life. She has unlimited projects because she must have done it before the app changed. Now you must pay for another project. Which means you can’t press the share video button. Once you have managed to share a video, it won’t default to camera roll and even if you export it, it doesn’t open. ### 1/5 — You lose everything if you switch phones. *2022-09-01* Dedicated 2 years of my daughters growth to this app, upgraded to pro, backed my phone up and switched devices and can’t get my projects back. Seriously?? ### 1/5 — GET YOUR PICTURES BACKED UP NOW *2019-11-03* I have been taking pictures of my 3 kids now for 5 years using burst photos to find the best one of them, selecting the individuals and then importing them into the app. Well, I went to do another batch of imports to catch up on my time lapses and realized the app DELETED photos from the CAMERA ROLL! All of the pictures I uploaded were plucked from my camera roll and placed into the app. Not only did it take the single images I uploaded, but also the photos that were selected from the same burst. This is seriously messed up and I’ve lost confidence in apps. How can they have the ability to DELETE from the camera roll!? I’ve just lost 9 cumulative years of daily pictures along with their collateral burst photos. ### 1/5 — Not going well *2019-09-21, version 3.0.15* Keeps crashing. It was simple, easy to use, and did exactly what it advertised. I have pictures from every day for both my kids from the day they were born. The app will create a video but I am unable to export it. I have notified the app developer but received no response. ### 5/5 — Works great and even lets you get rid of watermark *2021-05-22* Can’t recommend this app highly enough. It’s done a great job keeping all my photos and the process for turning them into a slideshow is super easy, plus you can customize it for free. The only thing that bothers me is that sometimes when you’re trying to take pictures it will automatically take them without you pressing the button. Thank you again!! 12/4/16 Dear app developers, I hope you get these... first off thank you. I appreciate you and this application. You managed to have an app I truly use daily. Today, however, I encountered a glitch. My photos are not showing up. All of my 2015 December photos are showing up in this years' December. It's over correcting and needs to not do that. I also paid the two-dollars and change to have the full app, so I ask, why is this happening? I deleted other apps and cleared up space, turned off the phone and after powering back up, it still does the same thing. Thank you for your time, and I hope this bug is resolved promptly. However the new Movie Director doesn’t work for me. The progress bar gets almost to the end and then seems to hangs forever and eventually my phone goes to sleep.
