Used the points. Then deleted the entire account. They made it difficult to cancel the subscription so I just deleted the entire thing. A month later I’m getting recurring charges. The customer service is making it near impossible to even cancel it much less get a refund. I’m forced to wait for it to post to dispute with my credit card. Be warned. ### 3/5 — This is cool, but there is a lot of porn. *2023-06-12* I was so excited to try. I have a weird obsession with AI apps, and I was so excited to see what this could do. I always do the free trial before paying and all the ads were literally porn. Like that’s really scary because I know that I found this app from Facebook and there are children on Facebook who may be interested in the app. Also, I told it to do the same prompt I saw on Facebook, which was one girl wearing sportswear well mine came up wearing sportswear dress and a lingerie lace top. Literally the same exact prompt. Just keep in mind you will be met with cartoon porn. Parents I would be very cautious of letting this app have access to your devices or your children’s devices. ### 4/5 — The app is fine, but the only one that charges per picture *2023-06-04* You get 100 credits A MONTH with the paid version. Any other app is unlimited with paid fee. The only cool feature this has that I have seen with another app, is you can directly add a specific face to your prompt. It depends how bad you want to see your face in different circumstances. Also, don’t be apprised if it puts a make on a female body. This is a “Dream girl” Al app, after all. Oh well. ### 2/5 — Unnecessary *2023-05-16* While this is a fantastic AI and makes really great art, the idea of credits is just so stupid to me. I understand the subscription stuff. But there’s no reason for you to be limiting what we can do each day if we’re already paying for the premium package. That just doesn’t make sense. Otherwise I wouldn’t have paid for the subscription. Would rate it 5 stars otherwise. ### 3/5 — Please make more things free *2023-04-15* I downloaded the app so i could convert one of my videos into AI. Bit i noticed you had to pay for it! This was the only app which could turn “Videos into AI” but it seems like you have to pay for it. You could more ads, that’s completely fine with me but please just make the video generator FREE!! Besides that i don’t think there is any other issue. Thank you. ### 2/5 — The censorship *2023-04-04* I loved this app and had a lot of fun with it even though I had to watch ads a lot that was fine because almost no art generators allow you to create inappropriate artwork but this one did and then suddenly it started saying I can’t make my inappropriate artwork anymore so I don’t know if this is a glitch or if this is a part of an update but if it is a part of an update please remove it otherwise I would give this app 5 stars and when I can make my inappropriate art again I will gladly change my rating to 5 stars ### 4/5 — Pretty good, but… *2023-03-09* Hey, I really love this app and how you can turn yourself or your videos into Ai and I think this is really awesome! But, that’s when the subscription comes in. I think you should do like a free plan where you can create some stuff that’s free like Ai prompt and you can do like the video stuff once or twice a day. That’s what I like. But it’s your choice you can do what you want. ### 4/5 — Fun to mess around with.. But... *2023-03-07* Lots of fun to ask my friends what keywords I should put in, but I have just one issue. The credits and the premium. I buy premium to have only 100 credits and if I want more, I have to pay full price! It'd be one thing if I wasn't paying for it but I'm just kind of salty. I know it was listed but still, advertisements for one more credit and it keeps going until I pay for my subscription again would be better than waiting a week and forgetting about the fact I have the app. Otherwise this is a lot of fun, definitely would recommend. ### 3/5 — Little suggested *2023-01-16, version 1.8.4* I was having so much fun and someone of the pictures were so good and animated but, I did not know that there was limited photo you can take. But… *2023-01-04, version 1.8.3* Over all I had fun with how much ideas I could express. You can really explore with a lot of words, for the most part a lot of pictures matched with how I described something which was so cool. But when it comes to videos, it needs to be worked on just a little, I can see so much more from it. It’s nice how the longer the video the more credits it took, I found it more reasonable which was good. I also like how there’s not constant ads in your face. This app gives the choice to spend money on it or not and not constantly telling you to buy things ### 4/5 — Awesome app *2023-01-02, version 1.8.3* I like this app I draw anime characters all the time but when it comes to drawing myself I’m not the best at it because it’s my self so this app really helps I just wish that there was a way were if you can’t buy credits you could just like accumulate them from daily activities on the app instead of having to get pro to buy them immediately off the bat ### 2/5 — Good but a few problems *2022-12-30, version 1.8.3* It was good but it kept asking for money. And then there is a time limit on how many times you can use it. And you need to buy credits. I am not trying to say it is a bad app but it definitely needs improvements. ### 3/5 — Good but 2 problems… *2022-12-27, version 1.8.1* So, The first time I got this app it was asking for my money over and over again so that’s -1 star and also when your creating something there is a limit to how much art you make a day so that -1 star but the quality and how well it turned me into a piece of art so that’s +1 star me also it identifies your gender so that way if your a boy you don’t turn into a girl and if your a girl you don’t turn into a boy like most apps with the Anime filter has so that’s +1 star and +1 star for letting you save it to your photos so that’s 3 stars I give it Highly recommend! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — No response from customer service *2024-01-04* At least one other user mentioned this exact problem. I created an account, bought into a subscription, then change my mind and canceled. Later, I change my mind again and tried to re-register. The app would not let me do that, giving me an "operation is limited" message. I wrote to customer service to remedy this, but after days, they still haven't replied. If they're going to charge a mint to use their app, the least they could do is reply when there's an issue. ### 1/5 — Almost felt like false advertisement *2023-12-12* I saw an ad that claimed this would let me “edit my photos using AI”. I launch the app and instantly get greeted with a “buy our products” type screen. I hit the X and continue to the edit my photos section, only to find out that you literally need to PAY a monthly subscription just to edit your own photos. No other AI app does this, it just feels like complete greed. Please companies, don’t advertise something that’s hidden behind a paywall, it makes many people never want to come back. ### 1/5 — Fun until trying to re-activate a deleted account *2023-09-16* I loved using my Picso account to edit pictures and create interesting art. However, one of my friends deleted my account as a joke. When I tried to restore my account using my Apple ID (since I still had an active subscription), I got an error that said “the operation is limited”. After contacting their support, I was told that my account had been blocked due to too many accounts from the same IP address. I only had 2 accounts, the old deleted one and the new one I was trying to activate. As a result of a stupid joke, I lost access to picso completely despite still having and paying for an active subscription. ### 1/5 — Refund issue *2023-07-30* I contacted picso for a refund due to downloading the wrong type of app, they didn’t respond for days until I wrote a negative review, once I submitted the review, they responded with steps on how to get a refund, I followed those steps twice & gave them what they needed & again they went ghost. Why is it that there is no response until a negative review is submitted? You get a lot of that nowadays, what that does is clearly display how poorly they treat customers until it affects them on their end, then & only then will you get a response 🤦‍♂️ ### 1/5 — No where to cancel auto renewal subscription *2023-07-05* I've had fun with this app. recently, I woke up to a charge on my card , I've tried to cancel my subscription, and there's nowhere on the app or in account settings where it allows me to cancel the subscription. The only time is when I go to delete account and it tells me that I am in a auto renewal subscription. I'm not sure if I cancel my account. I need to cancel my subscription. I don't wanna get charged anymore. When I go to transfer service it tells me that canceling subscription is in user account, but it is not please update your application. ### 1/5 — Worthless. *2023-06-21* I bought the 10$ sub to only get 100 credits they went by quick with just 3 second videos. Then against my better judgement I bought 500 credits for $50 it only did one video with like super low quality at best right. Not to mention the images are even worse what a joke! Do not buy it go burn the money in a fire instead if you’re tempted I regret buying this crap with 380 credits left I don’t know what to do, like it’s awful why waste time anymore. ### 1/5 — The art used is stolen *2022-12-20, version 1.7.3* This AI was trained using art stolen from artists without their consent. The fact that one of the “perks” is no watermark should be a red flag. The art they use to show different genres aren’t even created by the AI - it’s directly showing stolen art. And, of course, the audacity to charge people money when they haven’t even attempted to contact the artists the art they stole is just the icing on the cake. This is ethically and morally bankrupt, just as bankrupt as they want the artists whose art they stole to be. ### 1/5 — Stolen Artwork *2022-12-20, version 1.7.3* Contains directly stolen artwork. They have example pictures that they are trying to pass off as AI art to deceive you when they are in fact traditional artworks that the artists have reported as being used without permission. It also uses a database of stolen art. If you want to support artists do not get this app. They are charging you money to “let” you use the artwork that they have stolen ### 1/5 — Disappointed *2022-12-17, version 1.7.3* It was like the app was trying to be smart with me like EVERYTIME I’m struggling with something it would be like “having trouble get Pro!” No and then I had to watch sooo many adds just for the art to not match what I was looking for like I wanted a dog with a crown on its head and I get a wolf nice but not what I asked for and then if I didn’t get pro I had to wait till tomorrow to do more stuff so I just deleted it. ### 1/5 — Credits??? *2022-12-17, version 1.7.3* Can you explain the credits? What did I just pay 10 bucks for if I can’t make any more art?! And picso does a great job of this. It can be used in any device and helps me generate my inspiration whenever and wherever I want. ### 5/5 — Fun and reasonably priced with attractive results *2023-06-07* This is a good starting point for artists of all types and for anyone looking for a cute avatar wallpaper or whatever. The paid portion is reasonably priced 100 pics for ten dollars. There is a feature that costs 1 prompt extra but lets you use a picture you upload to use a specific face. Lots of fun and kind of addictive.
