## What is Picstructions?

Capture, Annotate, Markup, Create, and Publish all in one app!

With Picstructions you can take or import a photograph, add doodles, highlights, arrows, boxes circles, and text. Place those images in order and then create a PDF or webpage that you can share! We even create a QR code for the webpage that you can print and use without having to memorize a url. 

Have you ever stayed at an AirBnb and couldn't figure out how to turn on the fireplace or adjust the thermostat? The host can use Picstructions to share easy to follow instructions and show the location for everything in the house.

Have you ever tried to help an elderly family member use technology? Use Picstructions to show them exactly what device to use and the order to activate it.

These are a few of the frustrating things that we as humans deal with on a daily basis. Written instructions alone are not always the best way to explain or show how to do something. Especially in today's modern world. Use Picstructions to alleviate some of those problems!

Why can’t I share a project from the project view?

I have some nice projects I want to share but I have to edit them scroll all the way to the end to get to the screen where I can share. Horribly inefficient. 

A tool like this is supposed Tom make life easier not harder. 

Feels like a student did tha for a project, got the grade, then nothing more to make this better.

A picture is worth a thousand words… this app is a simple, quick way to create visual instructions that can be saved as a web link and shared.

App crashes on my iPad Mini2 (iOS 10) and unable to use. 

Also, this app requires a user to create an account with a verified email address in order to use the app (even if the user will not be using this app to post a created picstruction to the developer's site). 

The user has to log-in in order to use this app. Hence, what specific user data is this app mining (besides your IP address) while being used.

If you plan to use this (meaning, the app actually works for you), I suggest using this "Free" app with caution. I learned of this app on twit.tv. Is TWIT's iOS Today Show aware of this?

I heard about this app on the radio. I had an issue with registering the app, but after three tries, I finally got it up and running. It works great. I’ve been busy making PicStuctions.

App doesn’t work. Can’t access the app because it won’t let me register.

I contacted Picstructions App Support via email, and within minutes I received a response. After a couple back-and-forth emails, my registration problems were resolved. This is the best iOS app support I’ve ever received (thanks Dave)!

super simple and straightforward. I install floors and a lot of people ask how to fix scratches in their hard wood floors or the proper way to clean it. Now I have a way to show them without having to make an in-home-visit. I also like to hand make things from bracelets to ski rails and I would have loved this app to help me when I first started all that. These are just some ways of many ways this app is beneficial to your work and society.

I generally don’t do reviews.  I like the concept that is laid out here.   I have only worked on one project but I find it limited in its editing ability.  If you want to reorder your images you are unable to do so.   You are unable to insert an image between other images   

Once you save the file and want to go back to make changes, any errors made in the text tool are committed.   I haven’t been able to find a way to edit the text after saving it

I should give it 5 stars because if you plan your project ahead of time and the order in which your instructions are to appear, it is exactly what I need for the less than technical people around my house that require this type of instructions 

I am using on an iPhone 8 Plus which was okay.  I imagine it would be better on an iPad

Thanks for the quick response.  Now that you have pointed out what I failed to investigate in my initial use of your App, I find it is much more to what I expected from the App (I heard about this from the Tech Guy Podcast where one of the developers was talking of it).

Now that I know I can move images around, it is much more flexible.   As a result I will be buying the ad free App.

 I understand the limitations of the RAM issue, so I am changing my rating to 4 stars.  As I work on these type of projects not necessarily in one sitting, I would like to see that text can be edited after it has been saved.   A minor quibble.  We all expect the Apps to be perfect, but sometimes as consumers we don’t realize what limitations are put on the developers. Great Job!

I was looking for an easy way to send instructions on how to bleed a mountain bike brake when I ran across Picstructions. In about five minutes I was able to import some photos, write some brief instructions, and send away. The ability to send with so many different options is just incredible. Loving this app.
